What Are Elf Names Novels & Stories

he said. I thought about the wolf who had told me once — through the specific channel of the dreams, through the breadcrumbs in the library, through the years of pressing against the wall — that names found the people they belonged to. The wolf had been three centuries in this work. There were many women. She had been Elara once, the first Ashvale, and Maren after that, and the two Liriens before me, and me, and now there was a girl in a western country with silver eyes who had been given the name of the first one. The name had found her.

It’s easy to tell them apart from just their features. “You’re not wolf shifters,” I say, shakily. “Who are – What are you?” Balin raises a proud brow, “We are elves. We are the Elves of the Forest of Shadows.”

’ I ask him. ‘Do you have any family names that you want to give to our children?’ He asks me instead. ‘Not really. That’s not how elves work. Why? Is that how it is with dragons? Do you have a family name to pass down?’ I ask. ‘Not a family name, per se, but because I am descended from the earth dragons, I would like my children to have names that mean 'earth', or 'of the earth'.’

The two men shook their hands then greeted each other. Seconds later, They could be seen conversing with each other. Based on the serious expressions that were written on their faces, it looks like they were talking about something important. A few moments later, A man and 2 women with pointed ears welcomed us after calming down ourselves from the surprise we felt. First, they introduced themselves. They called themselves Encan a type of elf person. Even though they were elves, their ears weren't long like most elves that could be seen in books, movies or games. Their ears were short like humans but pointed.

I asked him, quite interested in their history for once. “No, they were elfs.” He was confusing me. “Plural of elf?” “Yes.” “Wait,” said Maurice, stepping in front of me. “The plural of elf is elves. Elf, elves, elven.” “Elfen,” said the shaman. “No,” insisted Maurice, “Hey!” he shouted at the roof. “Whoever’s in charge of the translating device, you got it wrong.” “Is this really that important?” I asked him. The look he gave me suggested it was.

A feeble attempt, I had to admit. "Stop struggling, little wolf," I said. "I have a name, you know," she responded. "Stop calling me a little wolf." My lips pursed in a thin line, and my eyebrows furrowed. Come to think of it, I never knew her name since yesterday. "What is it?" I asked in genuine interest. "Elizabeth Cortex." She paused her struggling, and the anger vanished from her face again, replaced with a twinge of sadness. "But my friends call me Ellie. At least, the few I have."

Byron went to kitchen to get some water before continuing his story. "I was born to a family in the east point or Faklan, my name was baron which means young warrior. At that time I was yet to receive my elf name..." Elf name!! Did her father just say he was an elf. "So...what was your elf name.." Madeline asked as she took large gulps of water. "Albericus..." Anger seeping into my words. Eloise frowned. Clearly he'd made more of an impact that I liked. When I left this bed I'd have to lock him back where he belonged. "Gerwulf," that voice rang out," what about his middle name? Does he have one? I mean-... I know wolves don't really care for that sort of thing, but... did-" she shortly laughs," I mean does your father have a middle name?" I raised a brow, almost surprised she didn't know. He had been her Alpha at one point," Finn is his middle name."
