What Can I Say It's Complicated Novels & Stories

I have come hoping to find answers only to be met with more questions than answers. This is going to be more complicated than I thought.

I really thought I was going to walk out of his office door heartbroken. Why did men always make things complicated? When there was always an easy way to say it.

Sat on the bed and thought about two men who saw me differently and a marriage that was becoming more complicated than a contract should be. But complicated wasn't the same as bad. Eli had said that. And maybe he was right. Maybe complicated just meant real. Messy and imperfect and requiring actual work instead of just existing on paper. I could do complicated. I'd been doing it my whole life.

All of it swirling around in my head with no clear answer to any of it and no way to untangle any of it yet. My life has gotten so complicated. And I honestly didn't even know where to begin with any of it.

You looked at me very seriously and said, "Daddy, complicated just means nobody fixed it yet." I didn't correct the word, I just couldn't. I'm trying to fix it, Tom. I promise. I closed the notebook.

I said. "The detective is right," she said. "Some answers are complicated. This one is complicated." "Does complicated mean bad?" "No," she said. "It means there are a lot of pieces and they take time to arrange properly." I thought about that. "Like a long piece of music," I said. She pulled back slightly to look at my face and her eyes were doing the bright thing that happened when she was trying very hard not to cry herself. "Exactly like that," she said.

“I told you, it’s complicatеd. I just nееd somе timе to figurе things out.” Hе shook his hеad, his grin widеning. “Complicatеd, huh? Surе, surе. In thе mеantimе, I’ll just kееp tеasing you about it еvеrywhеrе wе go.”

She mutters “It’s complicated.” She chuckles and then scrunches her body up as the pain ripples through her. “I told you not to make me laugh!” “I wasn’t trying too.” “You think this is complicated?! This is the simplest problem you could have. At least she isn’t human, could you imagine having to explain all of it then?” Maybe she was the better person to speak to, Neah would have me questioning more than helping me find answers. Or I would get lost watching her soul.

He was about to get engrossed in thoughts. "It's complicated." He states. Complicated, huh? The real meaning of complication is perched right in front of him. "You wanna talk about it?" I rant, and he shakes his head, a small smile on his lips. "Naah! It's unnecessary baggage. I'm over that shit now. I'm free!" Whoa! Huh! You mean, alcohol helps you forget that quickly? Fantastic! Then I think I have just found the perfect remedy to all of my problems.
