My Reborn Apocalypse Begins with a Divorce

My Reborn Apocalypse Begins with a Divorce

Ray could see they still had plenty of supplies, so unless some cannibalistic freak had shown up, why would they eat the corpses? Of the hundred people, besides the eleven ability users, all were women—and all attractive. That explained why they weren't thrown onto the experimental tables. They were playthings for Leroy and his crew. The men? They were treated as lab rats. Those who succeeded in evolving were killed and drained of their energy; those who failed either died naturally or were executed. No one wasted resources. Ray shook his head. In this era, there were no saints. Any man who rose to become a regional boss had to be ruthless and cunning.

THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS

THE ALPHA'S REJECTED TWINS

They were free—truly free—after spending months as lab rats. Alpha Dante coughed up blood as he ran out of the lab. He stared down the street, and a mischievous glint passed through his eyes. “Stop! Don’t go, my pupils!!” He roared, his voice echoing down the street, but the kids didn’t answer him.

Eternal Legacies Serie's Vampire rising

Eternal Legacies Serie's Vampire rising

-Apparently they were our guinea pigs in the DroPaCem experimental test," answered one of the soldiers from the back of the room. That's very interesting. Go on. -They went to the police station to rescue three wolves, so we went there and followed them through the forest. -We killed several of them,†another continued,â€"only five managed to escape, and this one,†the soldier pointed to a big button on the wall behind him and a huge glass appeared and, little by little, the G5 went up and a laboratory room appeared-that boy had been one of our drug test subjects-that boy was covered with braces and taking several injections. -Very good," said Bait, and the soldiers nodded, "now we need a

Take Me, Alpha Lord

Take Me, Alpha Lord

The one who has been screaming, uttered with a wide gaze, drawing closer to the bar. I stared at both women, noticing how filthy they looked in their ragged clothes. Even their cell was messy, like it has never been cleaned in a long time. This shows that Jeremy stayed true to his words. He didn't just keep these lab rats away from his experiments, but abandoned them to face their problems by themselves. They're miserable. "You're that crazy Alpha's doll," The second pointed, tossing her vibrator aside, and pulling herself closer to the bar. "Tell us... Did they get the drugs? Is the cure ready? Will the Alpha set us free?" She asked, scratching her body.

Rejected Luna

Rejected Luna

“Ellie, inside the testing facility they spent years doing breeding experiments to make more of us but it never happened. They kept coming up with new drugs to make it possible for us to be fertile but they always failed. By the time they believed they had found a way around all the changes they’d made to our bodies with the DNA they added, we were rescued before they could test them out. The drugs they gave us have worn off. We will die out as a race when old age claims the last New Species that Mercile created.” The reminder of what had been done to them haunted her. She had no words of comfort to give him. Fury sat up suddenly. “Let’s shower. I’m starving and what you cooked for dinner sm

MATE TO THE ALPHA PREDATOR

MATE TO THE ALPHA PREDATOR

He did not limp. "Most of those untested drugs they used on us were very hard and deadly to the wolf but because those drugs get the job done, those humans did not care about the consequences...the excruciating pain. It only angered those humans that their lab rats are dying off, not that they are actually killing beings with feelings. They drugged me up more than the others, so why am I not dying? Those were their baffling questions." Ismena stood up too but she didn't move with him. Instead, she wrapped her hands around her suddenly chilled arms and rubbed vigorously.

As this author’s first book, there are aspects that are dark but apart from that I greatly enjoy both books. Great writing. Hard to put down! Highly recommended reading. Thank you for another book that sucks you right in.

This is the third book I’ve read in your collection, & I love every bit of it! Such a great read & unique story in the werewolf genre! Love the changeling concept, & I enjoy the female character’s brave sass. The subtle plot twists are also so satisfying. Definitely one of my favorite authors here!

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

The Chronicles of Wolves and Fire

"Seriously? That's, uh, not so good?" "J, you are correct. That's bad!" Ryan replied with a sigh once more. "How many times can we take this stuff and not fry our brains or cook our blood? I mean, there is always a side effect, right?" "I don't know. They… I mean, the military did some testing a while back. " "And? They pulled some homeless guy off the street to test?" "No...Janet!" Ryan shouted. "We did." "What?" "I mean the rest of our former classmates from five years ago; I mean the rest of us were the lab rats for the experiment. Remember? We are the only ones who have managed to survive. It's just the two of us right now."

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

A small, cruel smile touched his lips—a smile Leo had seen a thousand times in the mirror during his days at the Thorne Foundation. "Mother. Father," Elian said, his voice echoing with a thousand overlapping tones of the Thorne ancestors. "The experiment is over. The 'Actual' world has been judged... and it is Inefficient." Outside, the Elite survivors and the settlers alike fell to their knees as their neural links—thought to be dead—reconnected to a new, singular authority.

Sold to Lycan King for Surrogacy

The air pulsated with the scent of fur and blood, an olfactory battleground where survival teetered on the edge of chaos. The encounter unfolded in a crescendo of ferocity, each movement etched in the shadows of the sewer's forgotten corridors. Finally, with a powerful swipe, I incapacitated the alpha rat, its form crumpling to the ground. The remaining horde, momentarily subdued, retreated into the gloom, their haunting squeaks fading into the depths.

Violets and Ash

There weren’t any drunken brawls like I was used to, but instead secrets were spilled, and opinions were much more easily given. What information I gleaned about EleaCorp, the laboratory that employed nearly one hundred scientists dedicated to the issue of the rogue gene, was downright inspiring. A few of those scientists were here today, trading lab coats and goggles for gowns and tuxedos. Unsurprisingly, they were the least intoxicated of the bunch.

I had trouble putting this down. Probably my favourite so far. Love the way the characters evolve and the interchange between them. Definitely not lacking in lots of plot twists and turns. Just when you thought it was safe… well done, Jane. Can’t wait to read your next books!!
Author K.C Rae
Absolutely beautiful writing, it’s been about a year since I’ve read Jane Doe’s work and I simply cannot believe how much she’s improved (not that she was bad/mediocre before). The story itself kept you captivated with lots of twists and turns, the characters were likable and spice was 4/5 stars
