I heard the door slam open, and there he was—Arthur. He didn’t waste a second. He charged at Vladimir, tackling him to the ground before he could react.
I scrambled to my feet, watching as Arthur punched Vladimir hard, over and over, until his face was bloodied and swollen. Arthur’s eyes were wild with rage, his breaths coming out in short, sharp bursts.
“Arthur, stop!” I yelled, but he didn’t seem to hear me. He was lost in the fight, lost in the fury that Vladimir had dared to touch me.
