The pointed wolf ears that stood up on top of my head was quite a familiar sight that I had seen before on Prince Leonard, but I never imagined that one day I would have the same feature because I wasn't a wolf. At least, I wasn't supposed to be one... “This can't be. The others, except for Mage Jaye, also began to clap as they looked up at me. I didn’t know how long I was supposed to stay in this form, so I just waited for someone to tell me I could go back into my human shape. It was odd, that was for certain. I swung my giant ears around, wondering if I should’ve shifted into a flying elephant instead of into just a regular one. I figured I was large enough in this form that no one could accidentally step on me or swat me down, but not so large that I wouldn’t fit in the room. My head was pretty close to the ceiling though. By the way, when Ruby is in her beast-kin form— she had four ears, just like any other beast-kin. She had two ears on top of her head, and two ears like humans do. But when she transforms into mammals with horns such as cow, goat, or antelope— she would've had horns on her head. Obviously, her human ears had the same function as humans, while her beast-kin ears receive higher sound frequencies which humans' ears couldn't. Magical beasts had their unique vocal, howling, roaring, chirping, singing, et cetera. However, this is only limited to the same species— but for Ruby, she could receive and speak at almost any frequencies she wants, but only limited to mammal type magical beast.

As I looked at my ears in the mirror, it was plain to see my ears were no longer pierced. "What the hell? I've had pierced ears forever." "Not anymore, you don't. Being a werewolf makes you heal quickly. Pierced ears are holes that shouldn't be there. The first time you changed, the wolf took hold and fixed the damage." A rumbling growl started in the back of my throat. "I have had enough god damned changes for a while. I like pretty earrings and I'll be damned if I'm going to give them up."

The two men shook their hands then greeted each other. Seconds later, They could be seen conversing with each other. Based on the serious expressions that were written on their faces, it looks like they were talking about something important. A few moments later, A man and 2 women with pointed ears welcomed us after calming down ourselves from the surprise we felt. First, they introduced themselves. They called themselves Encan a type of elf person. Even though they were elves, their ears weren't long like most elves that could be seen in books, movies or games. Their ears were short like humans but pointed.

They were beautiful—sleek and pointed, with a soft sheen that caught the dim light of the bedroom. “Is this... is this really happening?” I breathed, reaching up to touch one of the ears. It felt soft and warm and undeniably real beneath my fingertips, and very much like touching my normal ear but with a fine layer of fur and ten times the sensation. But as quickly as they had appeared, the ears began to fade. Within seconds, they were gone, leaving me staring at my normal reflection once again.

“You—you—WHAT ARE YOU?!” “You need to calm down,” his voice drops into this dangerous growl that resonates in my chest, and it’s not human, nothing about that sound is human. “Right now.” “CALM DOWN?” I’m hyperventilating now my breath coming in short gasps that make my vision swim. “You have a TAIL! And EARS! And—and—” I can’t even make my mouth form words that explain what I’m seeing, so I do the only logical thing, which is turn and run.

The ride back home was silent. I pondered about the moonstone as I ran my fingers through the fur on my hands which were slowly spreading to my shoulder and then my chest. Lizzy would glance at me and then speed up when she saw how thick my fur was getting. I looked at myself from the rearview mirror. I had started to grow ears at the top of my head and my nose was turning into a snout. My canines were growing long and sharp and my mouth was too small for it so it pierced my jaw. I had to keep my mouth open for the rest of the journey.

They can easily tear and eat any animal. Her jaw aches as if it had been forcefully opened for a long time. Her tongue feels swollen and rough, as lingual papillae begin to grow on it. She finds it difficult to swallow and speak. Her ears move from the side of her face to her head, becoming round and pointed, covered with black fur. Sounds become louder than before, as if they are close to everything below water and far away. She hears a constant ringing deep within her ears. Her walking speed increases to 30 ft.

They started talking, with a language I couldn't comprehend. There was no way to escape, we were sorrounded. It would be a suicide to even think of running. What have I gotten myself into? What is this place? Who are this people? How did I get here? The questions kept on coming, its wearying my mentality. I couldn't remember meeting creatures with orbs that had different colors. Except cats and dogs, but theirs were yellow, purple and red. It wasn't a contact lens. The blonde hairs were long, almost reaching the middle part of their backs. They have pointed ears as well. Those attribute weren't of man.
