What If I Had Animal Ears Novels & Stories

I woke up with a heavy grunt,what was happening to me. I did a quick check up on myself and heaved. Finally that beautiful lady, with no horse legs or carrot nose,though I still had elf ears. I strode along the decanted area hoping to catch a glimpse of the wizard instead I saw a horse. yeah, a black horse which stood waging it tail staring at me. I looked around to be sure no one had kept it there but saw nothing. Was it lost in the woods or it was for me?

They didn't want to be grouped with me. One of my group mates shouted in frustration, "Elder, we don't want to be grouped with this ugly thing—she will just scare all the prey away with her hideous looks." My eyes widened as I felt my anger rising. I screamed in fury, "How dare you; don't you know that I can hear you from way over here?!" Unconsciously, my lion ears and tail suddenly appeared, and my wings started to spread, tearing off the back of my cloak and flapping uncontrollably until the waves of wind that resonated from my wings started to mess up everything that surrounded me.

So much, he might even like that one better. I step out of the shower and walk to the mirror to study my face. The scar is less red now, but it’s still present and apparently it’ll be here forever. It's not that bad, though, at least it didn't deform me, it's just there as a reminder of what happened. They told me I can have surgery and get a fake ear, but not yet. So I guess I’ll wear patches for a long time.

With Izzy not here to act as a buffer, I excuse myself and go for a wander. Izzy ran inside excited about something, and I’m curious what that something might be. She told me that marked animais can see into each other’s eyes, but I’m not quite sure how to do that, and I can tell how much she wants to surprise me, so I’ll let her.

I put my hands on my chest as I sit on the sofa. If Mister Nasty saw us, who knows what kind of controversy would shake the Grimaldi household. The wardrobe got my attention. Weeds don't die, aren't they? My conclusion aligned in the proper direction. What bothered me was the weed turned into a dog. I cannot pinpoint if this was the side effect of the foul air. No matter how many times I scratched my eyes, I saw dog ears on him. He looked at me with squinty eyes. His frown made me feel like I wronged him.

As she spoke he took note, when she noticed she smiled. "Every one here has their suits under their uniforms, you never know when you have to shift." She added. "I have a question for you. Why do you use the stuff on your ears for and why do you wear glasses and the stuff on your teeth." She asked, wanting to know him better. "I have problems, the stuff on my ear Is a hearing device, I'm half deaf, and my glasses are cause I can't see, I'm suffering from cataract. And the brace are for my teeth." He said feeling embarrassed by his so many flaws.

It made him want to scream, but his voice caught in his throat. The thing that caught his attention was a good many years older than him, a pre-teen at least. It-she- had wild brunette hair and pale skin and green eyes. But she, whatever she was, wasn't human. Her ears, for one, were pointed and placed higher on her head. Her lower jaw jutted out, dog-like teeth replacing human teeth. Her arms hung limp at her sides, hands taking on a grotesque hand/paw look with claws. She even had a long, skinny tail.
