My 18-Year-Old Contract Bride

My 18-Year-Old Contract Bride

The CEO didn’t know what had been happening to him these past few days. He was married to the girl, only on paper. He had no responsibility whatsoever towards her. Why then was he helping her? This had to be the first and the last time he’d render any form of assistance to her. That marriage was contractual—in a sense—and it was one of convenience. It wasn’t based on love. Although they were actually married in reality, as they both signed their marriage certificates, they were still strangers merely living together under the same roof. They weren’t even cohabiting.

Bride of Convenience

Bride of Convenience

she looked at him turning his back to her she continued, “listen son, I can still stop this marriage, if you just say me once. I’ll call it off right away.” “I know it’s only for the deal but there is no feelings attached with this alliance.” “You don't need feelings to make a relationship, Grandma...” Adam argued. “Relationship without love is compromise; son & that girl at least not deserve that.” She tried to convince her grandson which she had not done before thinking about the girl. But today too she couldn’t stop worrying about both the children. The girl either wouldn’t be happy in this loveless marriage. She thought and today decided to confront him.

Contract And Marriage

Contract And Marriage

"There has been no other man in my life except Jason. How can you think I might cheat in our marriage when you are the one who has had many women in your life." "Many women, none of whom I took seriously. But you, I know you love him, and he loves you. What chance do I have against him, Sarina?" "Isn't it enough for you to feel secure that we're married?" I asked. "Do you love me?" he asked too. I couldn't answer because I didn't know what to say. Do I love him? "We got married because of what you and I need. It was a marriage of convenience for both of us. Is that enough to ensure that no other man besides me will come into your life?"

What Separates Me and You

What Separates Me and You

After a pause, she repeated, “Only a marriage of convenience can solve our problems and save the stock market.” Mr. Green gaped, his expression unreadable. Previously, he had pushed for Avery to get married, hoping she would have a happy family to return to and be able to live the remainder of her life peacefully. However, she had rebutted him with her talk of dreams, purpose, and the future. Although it was surprising that she brought up a marriage of convenience on her own, that was not what Mr. Green wanted. He had never thought of exchanging his daughter’s happiness for his own gain.

This is one of the saddest female leads ever. It keeps getting worse for the FL. The plot is unclear. The reason for him being with both women and his feelings are unclear. It’s entertaining but not very satisfying. Like to know what his feelings are towards them and hope things get better for FL.

Book was a page turner until I got to the end and then had to start reading 1 a day. Some closure to MsJenkins and divorce but not fully closed. No real character development and Josie is getting worse. I will keep reading for now but may be jumping ship soon if Josies situation doesn’t get better.

Our Marriage Contract

Our Marriage Contract

I looked up into his eyes again. "yes, marriage contract, that's what happens when you get your nose into people's business" he said standing from his chair, I looked down to see his signature was already there, I looked to the name in the opposite of his name to find it was mine, the only difference is, there was no signature below it.

My arranged marriage

My arranged marriage

I scanned the papers again and my eyes caught the pro's and con’s of the marriage I was getting myself into. I would rather not get married to him! My freedom, I had to find my way of leaving this hell of a prison, and yet, I was getting myself into a marriage. A contract Marriage at that. “Will you just stare and not sign those darn papers? I gave you what you wanted, and you would give me mine.” His thunderous voice filled that silence that had come in between. I was getting married to a blind cold man. How was I supposed to cope? My eyes caught one out of the several lines that were listed for me.

No Apologies, No Regrets

No Apologies, No Regrets

She saw how her sister-in-law aged overnight and how her niece and nephew grew up too fast, learning early that promises didn’t always mean security. Marriage was not just about love. Sometimes, it was about survival. Stability. Convenience. Not everyone had the luxury of a fairy tale. Some people just needed the right partner for the right situation. That’s when it hit her. She could create that. Fedora had spent years helping businesses form the right partnerships to succeed. What if she applied that same strategy to marriage? Temporary engagements. Fake weddings. A service that provided the illusion of love when people needed it most. People needed convenient partners. Someone to silence

Broken Vows

Broken Vows

"What the hell are you asking me?" "Look, you need to get your ex-fiancée and his family off your back and make sure you are protected and I need a wife to get my parents off my back. They want me married for business reasons. We can get married and keep doing what we're doing. You can stay here, and you won't have to look for an apartment. It's a win-win for both of us." "So, a marriage of convenience?" she asked and almost sounded hurt. "Just while I make you fall in love with me."
