What Is Hell Like According To The Bible Novels & Stories

He can’t go anywhere, not with how fortified this place is. Escaping from here is only a pipedream. With that conviction, Brandon pretends not to notice the lesser demon’s critical gaze. And so the barrage of questions continue, each one trying to outsmart the other, like a typical game of chess. “How can one go to Hell?” Llearth chokes on his non-existent saliva. “A-and why would you wanna go to Hell? Most humans want to go to Heaven!” he shutters and stares at the half demon like one would stare at an alien from outer space.

The shadows grew deeper, richer, tinged with the smell of fire and brimstone. The mouth of his realm opened. A swirling crack of darkness— the entrance to Hell, the place no mortal woman returned from unchanged. Beyond the tear, black stone and ember-lit skies flickered in and out of view, the distant wails of bound souls rising like a warped choir to greet their king.

“An in-between place. A crack between worlds. A way station, of sorts.” Gavin loathed his next words but that hysterical panic was crawling ever closer. “What are you saying? Is this . . . ” “Hell?” The boy’s eyes hardened, looking inexplicably old and ancient. “A place you couldn’t possibly begin to fathom. Especially considering you don’t believe it exists.” It was desperately sad, some part of Gavin realized, that his only defense was petulant sarcasm. “C’mon. I’m a midlist genre author. Pretty sure I know what hell is.”

He explained that the other warriors were out standing guard and would only come back for meals. I didn't see any dirt. The kitchen counters were spotless. I thought maybe I would be done in an hour or two. But kellan had called this place the dungeon. Where were the cells? The prisoners? My heart thumped harder when he stopped in front of a metallic elevator door. Numbers above the door indicated there were four levels underground. Instead of stepping inside, he turned right, toward a set of concrete stairs. As we went down one level, a stale, heavy odor hit me. I scrunched my nose, wondering if the air got worse on the lower floors.

I seriously warned them. Hell is not as hot as you think it is. There are three stages of hell, and the first stage is the hottest part of hell. Hotter than the flowing lava from an active volcano. The steam alone can drive you crazy from the humidity that it brings. That place is where the souls of the flawed, immoral, unlawful, corrupt, criminal, dishonest, and crooked are being punished. All you can hear and see are sufferings and despair. There is no room for hope in the place. The second stage is where Oslec belongs. The mighty warriors and loyal soldiers protect the Kingdom of the Demon King. That place is not as hot as the first place but full of dangerous terrains perfect for militar

a loud voice boomed. I flinched while Rena patted my back, "is okay, Bareea, it is already time." she said softly. "Where do you think I'll be put?" I asked curiously. "The hell is located in the ground while heaven is in the sky. Hell and heaven have seven divisions. I think you will be put in the seventh heaven because you are one of the most innocent people on earth." she smiled cheekily, "but life was too cruel to take you soon." she mumbled.

“You’ll also be in heaven, Erito… Not in hell… I’ll tell the guards of heaven later on… They’ll pick you up…” “How if they don’t want to and they insist on punishing me because I’ve committed a lot of sins and evils in this world?” asked Erito smiling slightly gloomily. “I’ve also committed a lot of sins and evils in this world. Then, we can spend our time together in hell. We can spend a lot of our free time over there… One thing for sure I can also see here… Do you know what it is?” “What’s that?” “Although we’re in hell, I don’t see any arduous, tormenting or punishing moments… I still see happiness, laughter, joy, exhilaration, and our hilarious moments…”

My eyes snapped open; it wasn’t dark or foggy and I was staring at some white ceiling. Is this heaven, I thought and then smiled stupidly There was no way I would be in heaven if I died and this did not look like the hell that the bible spoke of which would be filled with fire and brimstone and where sinners would cry and gnash their teeth until the end of time. I was feeling quite comfortable even though I still could not move without pains shooting up my body and… I moved my head to the side, settling on hair touching my arm. Diana, I thought

I kept a hold on one of Abby’s hands and we walked away from the room that the man named Ryan was in and took a stroll through Hell towards my home. “It’s nothing like I expected,” she said to me with a small smile creeping onto her face. “Everybody sees what they want to in the afterlife,” I explained to her, “One person’s Hell is another person’s Heaven, and vice versa,” I said to her. “Tell me what you see,” I was curious. “It looks a lot like Earth, really, the cement sidewalks and grass,” she moved her leg to graze the grass she was referring to and pulled away quickly with an “Ow!”

What is left is a burnt surface at the bottom, all wrapped up in smoke and foul smell. HelI, being a place where the damned arc deprived of the sight of God of Light is a place of sorrowful darkness. The land of the dead is also recalled “where the light is as darkness.” Hell is a place far removed from the light of Heaven, and the difference between the two places is clearly suggested. The greatest punishment is to be deprived of the beatific vision, and to be immersed in eternal despair.
