Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

This was because the other three were vastly superior to Wild Boar. Wild Boar was strong, but when one looked at the strength of the other three, he fell short. The Head of the Four Hands, Scarred Boar wasn’t the strongest although he was the head. He was a Strength Oriented New Type and was stronger than Wild Boar by a large margin. But he was weaker than Hidden Boar.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

It was easy to gauge their strengths by looking at them, the smaller of the brown bears was the quick one, the black bear was the one with skills as he swung his weapon and the largest one was the brute force I had to look out for. The small brown bear held two swords, the black bear a morning star, the heavy ball and spikes intimidating, and the gigantic bear that had me swallowing the dry sandpaper feeling of my saliva held an axe. I had faced bear shifters before, in battle, but never without the use of my wolf form. ‘Goddess I hope you are right.’ I groaned internally to Conri.

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Alpha Step Daddy : Four Mates, One heart

Alpha Step Daddy : Four Mates, One heart

Not a deer. "Dominic?" Raven whispered, sensing my change in mood. "Stay behind me," I commanded. Out of the thick brush, a grizzly bear emerged. It was massive—easily eight hundred pounds of muscle and fur. Its eyes were milky with age and pain, and I could see a deep, infected wound on its shoulder. A "rogue" bear. They were the most dangerous because they had nothing to lose. The bear roared, a sound that shook the trees. It didn't care that I was a werewolf. It was hungry, and we were in its territory.

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

Rise of a Queen - Book 2

I can’t say honestly that I would treat bear shifters outside our pack with the same approach though. We were able to pick up Petra’s scent easily and followed it for a few hours across barren plains. A bear's sense of smell was a hundred times stronger than that of a wolf and they made for good trackers. Even the faintest of scent they could pick up. Today I was happy that I had a few bear shifters in our pack. It made picking up the little girls' scent that much easier.

JWGStout has done it again! I loved the story and character development. The story really is a roller coaster, and I’m so happy for Lamia! But there are so many questions at the end, and so many opportunities for the other leading characters. I can’t wait to get into the next 3 books!

Claimed by the Wildwoods Pack: Her Triad Fate

Claimed by the Wildwoods Pack: Her Triad Fate

It seemed they’d taken it upon themselves to go fishing at his river anyway. The bear swung, digging his claws into Ky’s fur. Ky’s bear roared with rage. He bit and shoved at the other animal, doing some serious damage with his own claws. Black bears were the most dangerous out there. They shoved back and forth, Ky biting on the side of the brown bear’s muzzle.

Bred By The Boulderback Alpha

Bred By The Boulderback Alpha

Bear mates are their weakness and strength. The first drop of rain hit my arm and I looked at the darkened sky, and my mood dulled. It wasn’t yet the rainy season but it had been raining cats and dogs for a week now. I turned to head back inside and a jolting sizzle prickled across my skin like electricity — alerting me that someone was on my territory. I let out a loud growl at the sheer audacity and I felt the familiar cracking of bones starting at my jaw and moving through my hands and legs, my body restructuring itself. When I was fully on my paws, standing at nine feet, I pounced toward the woods.

Alpha's Regret

Alpha's Regret

The bear’s eyes glinted in the moonlight, and it let out a low growl, its breath visible in the cold air. Damien stepped forward, summoning his wolf as his eyes flashed a deep golden hue. The bear, sensing the dominance in Damien’s stance, hesitated. They locked eyes for a moment, a silent battle of wills. Damien didn’t flinch, his wolf’s presence exuding authority, a natural command that few creatures dared challenge. After what felt like an eternity, the bear let out a huff and turned away, lumbering back into the forest.

I hate it when an abused FL ended up with the male who had been abusing and tormenting her to begin with in spite of whatever reasons! no excuse for any man to ill-treat his true faithful partner I will never accept that Je*k back especially with him whoring while treating his mate as trash..
Black Dwarf
I enjoyed reading this book until Damien proved himself Alpha again. It’s not the story that is bad but the character development. The initial development that author provided is no more infact it’s gone negatively in recent updates. Some key characters are ignored. I am almost done with this book.

The Alpha’s Quest

The Alpha’s Quest

I, Alpha Xander, the protector, the leader, the embodiment of strength, was now a whirlwind of claws and teeth, fueled by a burning injustice. My opponent, a hulking brute of a bear in the forest stood defiant. It was an enemy I had known for years, a rival for territory and resources. Yet, the bear had always held a grudging respect for my strength. I guess it thought I was in one of my best moods that day. The respect had I had saved for it all these years was been shattered by the bear’s latest transgression. Nothing burned me more than the fact that my mate was nowhere near me. Gone, snatched away by the bear’s brazen recklessness, leaving behind me only a trail of blood and fear.

Sold To The Stongest Alpha

Sold To The Stongest Alpha

I didn't know how I was going to protect them. My heart raced in my chest as I took in the sight of the wolves. Their eyes seemed to shine with a hunger. These weren't even ordinary wolves. They were the larger and stronger with a crazy intelligence. Mr. Grayson stepped forward, his hand going to the amulet around his neck. “Stay behind me,” I growled softly to Regina and Mr. Grayson, my eyes never leaving the wolves. “I'm the only one who can face them. If it comes to it, run.”

His Regret

His Regret

I flew up to my feet and grew my claws and fangs against the bear who was already coming with another forceful attack. I was boosting the bear’s morale by running away from it like that. Not anymore! I have super strength! I ripped two arms off a Rogue without even pulling just hours ago. So I can rip a bear too! Yeah!!! I hyped myself up. I crunched at the bear who was approaching me with a threatening velocity now. The plan was for me to halt the bear with my stance, grab hold of it, and slam it to the side. Show him who’s boss!

No steamy season yet in this book.only in the description of the story that’s it. Very misleading. I agree it started out great but the writing and character seem to be very childish I am loosing interest really fast. Even though it’s fave stars it should be two maybe three no more so far.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bear shifters in fiction are often these massive, primal forces of nature, and my personal favorite has to be Bjorn from 'The Last Kingdom' books and series. He's not just physically imposing—though, let's be real, the guy could probably bench press a horse—but his loyalty and tactical mind make him terrifying in battle. The way he switches between human cunning and raw animal fury is mesmerizing. Then there's Kuma from 'One Piece,' who technically isn't a shifter but embodies the spirit of one with his paw-paw powers and mysterious agenda. His strength is almost philosophical, like he’s playing 4D chess while everyone else struggles with checkers.

And let's not forget the bear shifters in urban fantasy! Patricia Briggs’ 'Alpha and Omega' series has werebears that are less 'teddy' and more 'apocalypse in fur.' The way they balance human intellect with bear instincts adds layers to their power. It’s not just about muscle; it’s about how they wield it. Like, imagine a grizzly with a PhD in strategy—that’s next-level scary.
