The Human

The Human

"We live in human form most of our lives, but we can shift into our wolves once we turn 16. It's painful at first, but it gets painless over time" I stared in astonishment. Even if she was crazy, I was intrigued. I rested my elbows on the table and placed my chin in my palms as I waited for her to continue. "That's the reason why we stay in the woods, we can't risk humans seeing us and killing us, or using us for test monkeys. So we live where no human can find us, or where it's very difficult to be found." It all sounded oddly familiar. "Sometimes, things get heated in the packs, and some wolves are forced to leave the pack, or they choose to run away" She was looking kinda sad as she stare

The Book of Deceive

The Book of Deceive

The times have changed. People, out of fear, destroyed their homes. The forest burned, but the boars survived. It was time to return the favor. The boars are a hard breed to kill. What will they do next? he thought. Something idiotic, no doubt, they always do something idiotic. And, they say, that we boars never change. I think, it’s the other way around. Humans will never change. For them, it’s easy to return to the old ways. We have almost forgotten our ways. The times have changed.

Hunting Their Enemies

Hunting Their Enemies

He waved his hand over his shoulder. “Practice is over. Go home.” I walked beside Wes and Stu back to the locker room to shower and change. I knew all the wolves were furious, but I didn’t care. The city was neutral territory. If they wanted to fight, I could eliminate them all, and there was not a damn motherfucking thing anybody could do if they started a fight. Now that they had their wolves, the rules were different. Wolves didn’t start getting their wolves until they were 16, while we were born with our bears. That’s what made us stronger. We have been in tune with our bears since our first heartbeat. I eyed them as they surrounded Stu, Wes, and I. I raised an eyebrow at them as I flexe

Amory’s Mate

Amory’s Mate

Definitely not looking forward to uprooting my world, but as long as I have Rye, my life will be worth living. Listening to her rhythmic breathing, my bear rolls to his side. He is very content, laying here and listening to her breath. My human side is satisfied as well. It is weird they are separate, but the same. I know once they fully merge, we will share thoughts and feelings. I already know my bear is in love, and the human is. We choose to be lulled by her sounds and scents to a much-needed sleep.

Charlotte: Fated to the White Dragon

Charlotte: Fated to the White Dragon

“A bear and a human shaking hands? That's absurd.” “Right?” I echo, leaning back again, my grin widening. “Very absurd, innit.” I can smell how rich and sweet her fear is now, as it thrums under her skin like a heartbeat I want to sink my teeth into. It makes my mouth water. She’s right, though. Bears and humans don’t make truces. And neither do predators and prey. This… this is going to be interesting.

Mine - The Alpha's Possession

Mine - The Alpha's Possession

But I knew that they couldn't see too much from where they were. I looked back down at the street and the werebears were running straight for Jackson and his warriors and Jackson roared in attack and his warriors followed him, heading straight towards the bears. And that's when my heart almost stopped. There was a reason why bears were taken out 100 years ago. They are too dangerous when they are in their bear selves. No one could beat them. So they were trapped and executed. And Jackson was running head on into a fight with them. I knew that this wasn't going to be good. There were about 200 werewolves and about 50 bears. And I still didn't like those odds.

Love the story as well! Trying to hang in and keep going, but as everyone else has said the cost is astounding! The book is still ongoing and to read up to date from where I am would cost me $50 !! ...

Excellent book!! Characters are great and well developed. The story line is awesome, it keeps moving and doesn’t get stagnant or repetitive! It’s a long story but well worth it! This is the 3rd book I’ve read from this author doesn’t disappoint!!

Alpha Ridge

Alpha Ridge

There’s a lot more to a human’s life,* I said, pointing out the obvious. “And you’re being selfish! He thought he would never have a mate, maybe even never get cubs of his own. Imagine how he feels, did you even think about that,* she huffed. I watched as Kendra laid some shorts in front of Diego, he quickly began to shift. Burgundy laid completely still and licked her lips with anticipation. We both watched without shame as his fur disappeared, his body shrank and his giant paws disappeared. Soon, there stood the stocky werebear, in all his glory.

Story kept me interested and wanting to read more! The blood oath, made with children? The spell bond, what next? Read to find out what happens? Is there a second book? The end cliffhanger…Ryan and Nate find their mate?

A Queen Among Darkness

A Queen Among Darkness

They would show more respect to a dung beetle than they would to one of us. The thing is, we may be supernatural, but we are still human too. If you looked at our blood you would still see the clear signs of the human genome. We just have some additional cells as well. Excluding irshiusts and raitruums, we all come from humans, we just have a few extra quirks. But do they care about that? No. Why? Because they all drank the Kool-Aid and now believe the sales pitch like it’s fucking gospel. It’s equally sad and pathetic.

This one had me squeeling like a school girl, but it hits just as hard! The writers range in writing is limitless and i'm really shocked this series isn't one of the apps biggest sellers. it is incredible!

A Prisoner Of The Alpha Wolf

A Prisoner Of The Alpha Wolf

And Clarissa had the same expression, with his mouth set in a hard line, the eyes wide with fear, and the scurrying legs reminding me of the cartoons humans had grown up with which Alpha and Kit introduced us to. Not that the pair were human, but they’d lived and worked with them, and those animated figures were always dashing off in a cloud of dust. But Alpha and his friend called it a cultural touch point, something that resonated with humans and reminded them of their childhood. That was becoming increasingly relevant for us as we were interacting with humans. We would always be a bear den, but to market our services and provide excellent customer assistance, we needed an insight into how

The Deaf She-wolf: Kaya

The Deaf She-wolf: Kaya

She lit up. I mind-linked her. "So we are hunting a bear?" "Yes, we will have eight of us. More than enough for a bear, and I want a new hide." Kimi added speaking and signing at the same time. "Kaya, they don't know how to hunt. How do we expect them to take on a bear? They won't know how to avoid the claws and the bite; Goddess, you know what damage they can do." Helen looked white as a sheet and said, "I don't want to get a bear." Mark added, "Yeah, I think that may be out of our wheelhouse, at least for now." Kaya's face fell.
