The fabric fell away to reveal a pale, scarred face with entirely black eyes that had no whites in them… just endless, bottomless darkness that seemed to swallow the light around them. The scars crisscrossed his features like a roadmap of violence, each one telling a story of pain inflicted or received. When he smiled, his teeth were too sharp, too white, like a predator's. "Talk to my mate again, or go anywhere near her, and I swear I will end you." Then he turns to look at me and smiles. A wide smile that shows off his straight white teeth and his sharp canines. I'm not fooled by that smile, though. I know he's not happy with me. Just as I thought he's about to let Bane go, I hear a crunch of a broken bone and Bane screaming out in agony. He walks off while Bane is still screaming, holding on to his broken right arm. Just as I'm about to take off after Caspian, Bane crouch low then growls and springs up from his crouch, snapping his teeth, swiping his long sharp nails at Caspian's back.

"Who told you to display a fake score report?" The technician shook his head frantically. "This is the live result pulled directly from the official system!" Lydia refused to believe him and checked on her own phone. Her face became paler by the second. "How could this be?" My father seemed to remember something. He pointed at me and roared, "What exactly did you do in the testing center?" I told him the truth. "I turned in a blank exam. So what?" Daphne stared at me in disbelief, panic plain on her face. "How could you turn in a blank exam?"

I mean, it’s absolutely gross and painful to see. I crawl out of bed and make for the kitchen, hoping to meet Blank. But since I don’t see him, he probably hasn’t woken up. And if he hasn’t woken up, he hasn’t seen the trend. That could be a good thing, right? While I fix something to eat, a door creaks open from the hallway before Blank shows up under the archway, his hands dipped into his pockets as he leans his shoulder against the wall. “Good morning,” he greets, looking at me intently.

"Are you all ready? Tony spoke, after he had succeeded to calm Ifeanyi down. "Yup," We all chorused, while Ifeanyi muttered something intelligible under his breath. "I'll go first." Blake said, as Harmony handed him the bottle. "You all know the rules right? Tony questioned, and laughed afterwards, as we all gave him a look. "Okay." Blake nodded before he spinned it and the tip pointed at Tenda. "Were you born with a gap teeth or did you do it yourself? He asked. Tenda shook her head at this and blurted a "Hey am not like those stupid girls, of course its natural"

He looks clean and… and suddenly so strong again. It's makes me so happy to see him like this but it's still funny. I wonder if he knows how weak he looked throughout yesterday. Then he turns around and looks right at me. His mouth is shut tight but, he doesn’t look angry. He doesn't even look sad. His expression is just… blank as hell, and it's terrifying. He just looks at me, our eyes lost in each other. There's this sudden, deafening silence. I can feel my own heart getting weak, breaking into a thousand pieces at this moment.

Barrett snapped at Serena to leave, then instructed Tara to dismiss all the servants, allowing only his father and older brother to remain in the room. Lately, Barrett had been drinking more than usual. His complexion appeared sallow and haggard. His hair was a mess, like wild grass growing unchecked. His beard, likely only shaved a few days ago, had already grown out in a thin, patchy circle around his pale, cracked lips. To any onlooker, he resembled a wild, mangy dog.

I said. "What's with the weird teeths then?" A man yelled. I held my hand up, checking out my teeth. I could feel it all of a sudden, two teeths sharper than others on opposite sides. Mythological facts had called them fangs… How could I have them? "Her eyes aren't black no more." The sun had suddenly begun to affect me, my eyes felt heavy, burning with the intense sunlight. That wasn't enough to prove that I was a monster, they're just frightened.

Both Kris and I walked carefully to his side, it's Jahred. Bahm looked different. His canines were elongated, his eyes as black as onyx, and his nails were quadrupled the length it normally was. They looked like thin razor blades, coated with blood. His face muscle was swollen, pulsating with a rippling effect. "Bahm don't do it. Leave them. They will get theirs." Kris exhales out, with his body taking slow steps to Bahm, his hand out in front of his chest. I gripped onto his shirt, afraid of seeing my Bahm this way.

His face looked pale but healed much better than last night. But something was off. He looked at me. And then he looked away. That alone felt like a punch. “Hey,” I said softly. He nodded. Just once. No smile. No glare. Nothing. “How are you feeling?” Maya asked, moving closer to him. “Fine,” Blake replied. His voice was flat. That was not Blake. Even when we fought. Even when he was angry. His eyes had fire. Life. That stubborn spark. Now they looked empty.
