When Does Mark Sloan Come To Grey's Anatomy Novels & Stories

"I will protect you even from Octnavin's wrath." "Like last time when you got tortured?" Murry closed his eyes like he was reliving a particularly horrible memory. "Fuck." Sloan waved to the window. "I'm going. I came here to see Octnavin, and if he's pissed about it, then he can just deal." "You interest me." Keltrix grinned. "Hey, at least I can tell Octnavin to get a better handle on Daris." Sloan didn't wait for a response from dumb and dumber. He grabbed his coat and turned on his heel. Without looking back, Sloan exited the command center.

Before I could thank him for the ride and the little bonding moment we shared, he gave a small nod, that unreadable look in his eyes again. “Wanna come in?” I offered. He stared at me with an amused look and slowly nodded in response. “I'd only stay for a while though and after that—It's straight to bed.” I sighed, heading inside. The apartment felt unusually quiet. Just as I was about to change get into bed, my phone started ringing from the nightstand. I frowned, picking it up. “Hello?” “Jhelani! Oh my God, you’re not going to believe this,” the voice on the other end squealed. It was Sloane, a staff from the hospital. She was very nice to me at the hospital so we had exchanged contacts.

“You’ll be my very first phone call.” There’s a knock at the door. “Are you ready, Sloane?” Phoebe asks her. Her belly has just popped out with her baby bump. She and Adrian are having a little girl. Because she’s not very far along in her pregnancy, she and Adrian are taking Sloane to Alpha William’s pack for us. Sloane comes over and gives me side hug, careful not to press too hard against my stomach. “I hope you’ve saved some of that for me,” Roman says from the doorway.

No need to divulge more for Sloane's privacy. I unlock my bedroom door and lead the officer inside. Sloane is curled on the bed, her face puffy. I leave them alone, and thirty minutes later, the officer emerges. "She’s cooperative, Ms. Gregory. The special victims unit is moving in for the arrest tonight. We’ll follow up with counseling services tomorrow." "Thank you," I exhale in relief. Sloane rejects dinner, saying she just wants to shower and sleep. Nadia and I help her carry her bags to her room across the hall. The moment Sloane steps inside, she lets out a small gasp.

I asked. “Obviously I'm not taking any chances on you. I could have gone there myself if it was a fight of ten to one. But there are many of them guiding the gate. I was at the hospital as well. If you must know, Sloane and I had something in the past. I came back from Italy a few weeks ago so I asked her and got information that she was going to be at the clinic. The person we are talking about is someone deadly and if we don't do anything we might lose Sloane” he said. “What's your name?” I asked. He was about to answer when another call came in. I picked up immediately expecting another shocking news.

"Sloane? Your... your ex?" Something flickers across his face. "Rae, there's nothing going on with Sloane. There's no way she took the letters—she's not even our student, she's not on this trip. But we need as much help as we can get right now." I want to argue, want to let my insecurities take over, but the desperation in his voice stops me. He's right. We need help. "Okay," I whisper. Gray calls her, and surprisingly, Sloane doesn't ask questions. She just shows up twenty minutes later in sweatpants and a hoodie, her red hair pulled back messily.

Sloane was last, in the yard, standing beside the truck with the dawn still an hour off. "Marlowe's man arrives Friday," she said. "His name's Petra. He'll sit at my table and read our books and report everything to a man who has already decided we're a county." She said it without heat. "I've got until then to make this pack look like something worth annexing carefully rather than quickly." "Sloane, I'm sorry." "Don't." Sloane's pale eyes came round. "Don't apologise to me. You'll do it wrong and I'll have to be gracious about it and I'm not any good at that."

I know it, he knows it too. After everything that has happened, the blood claim, the threats, the bond that neither of us could control or deny, I had thought or even hoped that he would at least show his face. Even if only out of duty. But no. The silence from him stung deeper than the mark of a physical wound ever could. Sloane chatters beside muttering something along the line of making hospitals illegal. Her wolf side suddenly began showing within this week, the harsh smell of bleach became her nightmare I the infirmary.

I retorted every time. "I know you, Zane." That made me smile. "Do you?" She always paused at that. And every time she did, I'd wonder if she was beginning to understand exactly what I was trying to tell her. ~ By Thursday evening, I was practically counting down the minutes. Sloane walked into my home office just as I was shutting down my laptop. "We're leaving early tomorrow, right?" I looked up. "Yes." "Where are we going?" I smiled. "You'll find out."

Maybe another woman would come here as soon as she left. The next day at the Tremont Estate… Arianne got up early. Mark and Nina were still asleep. She returned the call she got from Tiffany, who was still muddle-headed from her sleep. Basically, the person they hired found out that Mr. Sloane was taken away by someone from the mailing address and he had fallen sick at the time. That was it for now. They had known about this since the beginning so the information was of no value. They had gotten happy for nothing.
