When Does The Team Find Out Emily Is Alive Novels & Stories

Emily nods, a sob tearing out of her "My dad knew. He knew someone was threatening her. He tried to protect her but he couldn't and now she's gone and I don't know where she is and I don't know if she's even alive." Jeremy reaches out to hold her hand comforting her. I stand there frozen the woman I love is out there somewhere, taken and I've been doing nothing to help her I turn to Jeremy. "You knew about this?" Jeremy holds my gaze. "I just found out. Emily told me tonight."

She leaned against the door, crossed her arms, and stared at me. I didn’t say anything. What was there to say? I wasn’t in the mood to listen to any of her games. She was probably here to spy on me or check if I had anything to spill for Matteo. But after a while, she spoke. “Emily is dead.” Her voice was cold, like she didn’t care what effect those words would have on me. My head shot up, and my eyes met hers. My heart stopped for a second, then started beating so loud in my ears that I could barely hear my own thoughts.

He looked at me then and I saw something cold in his gaze. “Funny you should say that," He chuckled. A bit of unease brushed against my spine. “I actually have good news,” he continued. “News that’ll make this mood even livelier.” A murmur rippled through the room and I shook my head, chuckling. "Lucas, if this is about business or pack matters, it can wait—” “Emily is alive and well," he said. There was instant silence and for a heartbeat, I couldn’t process those words.

Jessie says through the mind link "don't tell me to call down! Tell me where he is instead!" I bark at her through the mind link and if I could get up from the bed I would leave and start to look for him instead. " he is alive! But you have to understand something!" Emma says and a part of me takes a breath of relief he is alive, then what is going on? "Just tell me!" I mind link her

" I uploaded platform schematics to a tablet and slid it through the ventilation system into her cell after bribing another technician. They'd installed a remote controlled delivery mechanisms throughout the facility. "I’m sending you blueprints now. You have eighty-seven minutes to save your own life. Don't waste them." I cut the connection and watched Emily grab the tablet, studying the schematics. She was smart. She'd figure it out. Probably. My phone rang. Marcus Lothan. "Margaret, Blake's teams are in position. Do you have confirmation Emily and the children are alive?"

And now suddenly… he was alive. Alexander watched her quietly from across the room. He didn’t interrupt her thoughts. But one thing was clear in his mind. This wasn’t a coincidence. Finally Emily spoke again. "If he's alive… why didn't he come back?" Her voice sounded lost. Alexander answered calmly. "That’s what we’re going to find out." Emily looked at him. "What are you planning?" Alexander picked up his phone and walked toward the window. "I'm going to London." Emily blinked. "London?"

I said, voice low, eyes on her, “that Kate is still alive?” Emily froze, her hand on her bag, halfway to leaving. She turned back slowly, her eyes narrowed, her posture stiffened. She was trying to process what I just said, trying to figure out if I was bluffing, if I had lost my mind completely. “What did you just say?” she asked, her voice quiet but sharp. I leaned forward, my gaze never leaving hers. “Kate. She’s alive.” For a moment, Emily didn’t say anything. She stood still, her face unreadable, and the air between us seemed to thicken, like the room was holding its breath. Then, finally, her lips parted, and she exhaled sharply.

And in her eyes—there was something I hadn’t seen in a long time. Fire. “Yes, it’s me,” she whispered, kneeling in front of me. Her hands were already working at the knots behind my back. “God, you’re freezing.” I blinked, dazed. “What… how did you…?” “I overheard Emily on the phone with Chris,” she said. “He’s alive, Sophia. Hurt—but alive. He got a message out just before passing out again. It was enough for Joe to track this place. Elijah and the others are almost here, but—” Her voice cracked. “I needed to get to you first.”

— “Emma!” Someone shook my shoulder hard. I gasped and sat up, heart slamming against my ribs. For several seconds I couldn’t breathe. Lily stood beside the bed, staring at me. Lily. She had died in the first year of the apocalypse. I had held her hand while the light left her eyes. But she was here. Alive. “Lily?” “Yeah? What’s wrong with you? You were screaming.” I grabbed her hand. Warm. Real. I reached for my phone with shaking fingers.

“You think she’s one of them?” “I don’t know.” My voice was low, controlled, but inside, a storm was brewing. “I’m going to find out.” Claude watched me for a moment longer before nodding. “Good luck, Cedric. But remember what I said. If she comes back… rethink your approach.” I didn’t respond, turning away from him and heading for the door. My mind was racing, a hundred different scenarios playing out in my head. Was Emily one of the girls they recovered? Was she hurt? Was she scared? Or worse, was she gone for good?
