I don’t know, this is my first time being here. “I know a spot. Follow me.” I look at Theo and forgot he is from this neck of the woods, taking his hand as Fen takes my other one. We walk towards the trees and follow Theo to a clearing. Moving to the centre, I lay down on the grass with Theo on one side and Fen on the other. Taking a deep breath, I look up at the inky black sky. The stars are scattered like twinkling fairy lights. They are always so beautiful. “Oh, look a shooting star, quick, make a wish.” I exclaim like a little kid at Christmas. I hear chuckles from both sides of me as I close my eyes and make my wish.

I added, although more to myself than the others, and ran out into the cold, breathing in the frosty air, dipping my hands in the fluffy snow covering the cement railing. "You will pay for this. When the time comes, I will tear you apart and burn, and on your ashes, I will build my happy relationship." I growled, staring at the moon hanging high above the earth. I encountered a shooting star, closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and made a wish. I stood there for a good few minutes before my emotions, and the urge to murder subsided enough to allow me to return to the room with dignity and, as I promised, to keep an eye on Poppy.

I sighed as I dropped the phone from my ear, watching the stars twinkle in the sky and then a falling star caught in the mix of the night sky. “I know you are alive, Melissa. I know,” I said as I made a silent wish.

AVA The flames of our bonfire danced against the night sky, casting shadows across the sand. I leaned back, feeling the warmth of Callum and Theo supporting me as Noah and Oscar stretched out across my legs. The ocean's rhythmic waves provided a soothing backdrop to our quiet evening. "Look, a shooting star!" I exclaimed, pointing upward. As the streak of light arced across the heavens, I closed my eyes and made a silent wish. "Why don't you make a wish, dear?" I looked at her to see her eyes gleaming in excitement. "I should?" I nodded and watched as she sat up eagerly, closed her eyes, and clasped her hands together.

He smiles like it’s enough. “Make a wish,” he says. And I do. It’s a stupid wish. A crazy wish. A wish I’ve been making every year for as long as I can remember. I wish, I wish upon a star. I wish for my daddy, wherever you are. I don’t know where my daddy is. I wouldn’t even know him if I saw him. But right now, the guy who rescued me from the rain, the guy with the dark eyes, the smattering of grey hair at his temples, and the shirt that looks like it came from an expensive watch advert. Right now, I wish this guy could be my daddy.

Apparently, I have some amazing timing because right after I did, Khloe gasped. “I saw one! Did you see it?” She asked with her adorable excitement. “I’m afraid I missed that one,” I said as I placed down the lantern and returned my arm around Khloe, “did you make a wish?” One of Khloe’s brows rose as she turned towards me. “Make a wish?” She questioned. “Yeah,” I began, “Legend says that if you make a wish on a shooting star, it’ll come true.” “Really?” She turned her head back towards the sky as another star shot past the moon, “So do I get one wish per shooting star?”

He said softly. “I can’t,” she said as she shook her head. “I can’t think about them anymore. It has been there all night in the back of my head. I really do need to let it go. I mean, they don’t even care enough to call. They didn’t remember at all.” “Kristen.” He said as he pointed up. There were four shooting stars in the sky as she spoke, and the tear fell. “Make a wish because those probably came a long way to celebrate you.”

Stella smiled at him, as his mind traced and remembers Stella's face, her eyes, and the tip of her nose. "Maybe the sentinel will be kind tonight and give us a droplet of wish" When they looked back at the sky, they were amazed when a shooting star passed by. Stella clasps her hands together and make a wish. 'I wish to learn the truth' she whispered "Your wish is granted," Justin said in a soft sweet voice "Thank you" Stella smiled.
