Dylan POV I look at Jo, that has gone pale. She lost all the color of her face as she looks at the photos. I grab them and rip them into a thousand pieces as Jo watches me with tears rolling down her cheeks. “Why is he doing this to me?” She asks and I would love to know the answer. “I don’t know, but I am going to kill that bastard,” I say as I pull Jo into a tight embrace. And she rests her head against my chest as she cries. She has been hurt and there’s nothing I can do to make her feel better.

“I never gonna let you go; In my heart, I know. I love you, I love you. Oh baby, I really love you...” Mike went crazy. He dropped some oranges that scattered all over the kitchen floor, but everyone pretended not to notice it at all. Although he knew that there was no chance of any close relationship with Jo anymore, he was unable to look at it calmly as it was fucking agonizing. He felt as if his heart was being ripped open. He had never expected that witnessing such scenes would be so painful for him. When the song ended, Patrick was still hugging Jo tenderly. They stayed like that for a moment before he kissed her forehead lovingly.

She ran her hand through my hair as she grumbled, “When are we going to tell them?” I furrowed my brows and dropped her hand. “Tell them what?” I asked. Jojo clicked her tongue. “I told you before, Luca. We need to come out clean about our relationship, my parents are going to get me married off soon.” I bit my bottom lip as I held her hand and pulled her back. “Jojo, I do not love you.” Her eyes widened in shock as she stepped back. “Common, don't give me that face. You know that I don't love you. I've been telling you this.”

He hated this part it was just so cold-blooded but it had to be done. Leo sat in a small room with others as they waited for members of their faction were healed. He’d been okay but Jojo had been shot by something that melted once it was stuck in his shoulder. He’d been in there for quite a while, hours even. Leo was tired but determined to see him when they were done. They had been divided at some point and Leo was just getting back to Jojo’s side when he was hit with whatever it was. I exclaimed, my voice rising in anger. JoJo looked up at me, her eyes shining with tears. "I just want to be free, Vicky," she whispered. "I don't want to live like this anymore." I took her hand in mine, squeezing it gently. "I promise you, JoJo," I said, my voice firm. "I won't rest until we find a way to get you out of this situation." The anger and pain inside me were indescribable, and only the moon goddess knew how I felt. Our father was nothing but an ingrate.

Thanks to quick action, he was narrowly saved from death. Still, the injury was severe, particularly to his heart. He would have to be extremely careful from now on, as any misstep could easily become fatal.

Even if he ends up rejecting me after. I sigh out, tears in my eyes. My poor baby girl. Both of my girls have gone through hell because of their mates.
