Only then were the two of them guaranteed a happy life together. Both of my stepsisters got that blessing at eighteen and bonded with their mates without a hitch. I was twenty-eight, and I still hadn't bonded with anyone. For the last ten years, every man who ever loved me had walked out of that temple wanting me dead. the voice murmured softly into the gloom. A pause. "And eventually..." The solitary candle flame flickering in the corner trembled violently as a cold draft swept through the vault. "...one of them will lead us directly to what her father hid away." The room fell into dead silence once more. The face of the speaker remained completely concealed beneath the heavy hood. No name was spoken. No identity revealed. Only endless, terrifying patience. And somewhere far across the realm, hidden within the walls of the Moon Palace, Amara's silver bracelet began to emit a faint, pulsing glow into the dark.

I don't care if you both are destined to be together, you won't have anything to do with her, " the woman said, leaving the room. "I am Finn Nightshade, Alpha of Moonfield Pack. '' my handsome saviour introduced himself, stretching out his hands for a handshake. I was certain that I knew about this Pack, it was rumoured to be the most powerful and peaceful pack.
