Each clink of the dishes echoed in the stillness of the room. Amidst the gentle clatter, Emily's phone suddenly rang, breaking the silence. Startled, she quickly retrieved it from her pocket, only for the ringing to cease abruptly. Confused, she furrowed her brow, her curiosity piqued. Just as she was about to investigate the source of the sounds in the adjacent sitting room, a sense of foreboding gripped her.

I drank some water and took the empty dishes back to the kitchen. I quickly washed the dishes and went back to my room. I picked up the novel I was reading which was on top of the bed and sat on the chair. I opened the book and started reading. For some minutes, I was engrossed in the book when suddenly my phone began to ring. I dropped the book on my reading table and picked up the phone which was on the bed. I looked at the screen. It was the Alpha calling. I sighed as I answered the call.

JORDAN The loud ringing sound had a familiar ring tone, reminding me that it was my phone. It had been ringing for a while and it wouldn’t stop. My sleep had been disturbed because of it, but because I was unwilling to let go of this very peaceful moment, I had with a certain woman who was still naked in my arms. John’s phone rings loudly from his pocket. Everyone turns to stare at him. Marsh, Halloway, the lawyer, and even Daisy. Her eyes widen in shock, and she finally looks at him, her expression a mixture of disbelief and betrayal. John’s breath catches in his throat as he slowly reaches into his pocket, pulling out his phone. The ringtone continue to blare, echoing off the walls, the sound like a cruel reminder of the truth he had tried so hard to hide.

Ring. Ring... The golden coloured telephone with a round dial ringed repeatedly. The ring of the telephone was louder, so Akshara could hear from her room which was located just above the room of her godmother, Nicoria. Akshara peeped out of her room and examined who was calling. The telephone ringed continuously, it turned out to be no one was willing to pick the telephone. Akshara tiptoed with her soft feet and passed the room of her godmother.
