Groggily, they blinked at each other, disoriented by the sudden interruption. "Pick the phone!" Ana murmured, opening her eyes, when suddenly realization hit her that there was a telephone in the house. 'What!' "You have a phone in the house and you didn't tell me?" Ana's voice held a note of inquiry as she rose from the bed, gracefully enveloping herself in the sheet. Her question hung in the air, prompting Richard to explain the oversight.

I thought to my self as l headed to my bed room. The bell rang no sooner had l entered in the covers. What the hell l cursed. Who doesn't see rain? I don't sometimes answer calls when l don't have caller's name savedin my contact list. The phone rang for the second time. I then got to know that the one ringing the bell is the one calling me. After making sure that the call ended, l sluggishly went to open the door.

I let out a slow breath and finally pick it up. “Ryan,” I say. There’s a pause on the other end. But the voice that answers is not his.

Ring…ring…ring… I peal my eyes off of the bare wall and glance down at my phone on the table. My heart slams hard against my chest as the word Queen flashes at me as if something important has happened. I don’t hesitate as I grab my phone and gasp, “Did something happen? Is my brother awake now?”
