Megumi said smiling at Alfi. That weird couple is having dinner with such intimacy with the starless sky night flourishing the atmosphere. Why do I feel jealous anyway? Suddenly, they see a shooting star. “Oh, a shooting star! Let’s make a wish!” Pinto said. Pinto, Alfi, and Megumi close their eyes making a wish upon the shooting star. No, they are just fine, Pinto has autopilot which activates every time he closes his eyes. When they open their eyes, the thing that they think a shooting star is falling to them fast.

“I want to eat the biggest, juiciest, and most expensive steak you can find. Jail food is a joke.” As an eerie silence fell in the area, except for the rustle of a light breeze, Tamashi thought about whether his demands were taken seriously. After a brief pause, Star began to laugh. Sweat formed on Tamashi’s forehead. “Of course! That works for me. Now, one last thing before we go. Let me properly introduce myself.” The wind picked up, blasting through Star’s hair. The bright sunlight shone in her hazel eyes. Her lips formed into a determined grin.

My eyes crossed and I sat up quick, seeing a blur of the stars drip down in the space before me, flying throughout the air and zipping over the grass and around trees like bullets fired out of guns. I stuck my hand out, catching one of the flying stars, the white, bright light flickering around my fingertips in hectic fashion. I brought the fallen star to my lap, holding it in my palms. It had a face and little, crooked wings. “It’s a pixie,” I breathed in shock. “Oh, moon goddess… a pixie!” The little star stood up fast, wobbling around my palm, her little feet stumbling over one another. I tried to help her up by nudging her upright but she fell forward, exhausted.

But the end of what was unclear. I searched the abyss and found nothing. Fear overwhelmed me; images started to appear one by one. Cleo, Prue, work, mum, and the last was Damian. Each disappeared as if they were smoke. Whisps filled the air and dissipated one at a time until there was only one left. The whisp from Damian floated across to me. It morphed into a guiding light as the ticking became faster. Something deep inside felt the pull; I needed to follow it. Step by step, one foot in front of another, I followed his light. It led me to a door in the middle of the abyss. The door stood solid in front of me as the whisp passed through it and disappeared.
