THE CURSED WOLF

THE CURSED WOLF

I bent down to look into his eyes. He glared at me in hate and disgust no sign of regret and remorse, "do you think I care, if anything happens to me my... Ehm (White Shadow) will be merciful? Don't go boasting around because you defeated me, you don't even know who the white Shadow is." Taking a step back from him, I stared at him in surprise, I didn't know he collaborated with my enemy. "Who is White Shadow," I asked threateningly my hand playing with the cloak of a sharp double edge short sword I took from the garage last night.

Cursed Love

Cursed Love

She suddenly sneered making him tighten his grip over her jaw not liking the way she was disrespecting him. "I curse you." A mewled whisper erupted from her throat. The man who had her jaw held in a terrific grip suddenly gave her a twisted smile having no effect from her words. He found them absurd and full of stupidity. "I CURSE YOU! YOU AND YOUR FATHER WILL LOSE ALL YOUR HAPPINESS AND PEACE! IT'S A CURSE OF A DAUGHTER, YOU IMBECILE!" She cried loudly right on his face which did snatch his smile but something in him refused to accept the power behind her curse.

The Blood Curse

The Blood Curse

Layla mumbled. "The curse has been broken, Layla," he managed through labored breath. "We did it and now you can go back to your normal life." He lifted his shaking hand and brushed her hair from her shoulder, the gesture making her lip quiver. "But what about you?" she whimpered. "You have to come back with me." "Layla," Atreus said in a soothing yet hoarse voice, "you know that I can't." "No," Layla muttered, holding his hands tightly. "Please don't leave me again. The curse is broken now, we can finally be together," she managed to choke out desperately.

White As Snow

White As Snow

I took a glance to see that all the rogues were dead and now my mate was eyeing me in worry as he tried to tear down the ice wall once again to help me. I closed my eyes, concentrating back on the situation at hand. My hands trembled, controlling the extent of power it was radiating. Soon that bastard's hair started glowing white, just like mine. I smirked at my plan working. My smile grew wider when a white light emerged on his chest, stretching out to take all over his body. He grew a little tense now. With every inch the white light moved to cover his body, he grew stiffer. "What... what are you doing Aurora?" He started to panic. "I can't move!" He screamed. I tilted my head, my lips tug

Lupus Noctrine: Symphony Of The Cursed Lycan Quadruplets

She simply adjusted the silver flute, her nose brushing the cold metal as she prepared for the first note. The intervention had given her a name for her curse - a beacon -;and she would use that light to burn every gilded cage Xander had ever built. The Symphony of the Cursed was ready, and the Final Calibration would be written in blood.

The Curse of Death

The Curse of Death

Evan squeezed harder, making Carmen cough. "Die!" "Do you really want me dead? Don't you want to know where Lyra's head is?" Carmen used the last of her strength to say this. Evan froze for a moment before slowly releasing his grip. After a while, Carmen got up and opened the fridge. There were two glass jars inside with my head and kidney both soaking in formaldehyde.

TOO FAT TO BE LUNA

TOO FAT TO BE LUNA

Raw and enormous and animal, the sound of something fighting for its existence from the inside out, white-gold light erupting from my skin not as a weapon but as overflow, power running hotter than the channels could contain— “IT BURNS— KAEL—” Dark and light tearing through every nerve at once, the Royal Wolf and the curse and Vivian’s working and the hybrid Lycan blood all in the same space at the same time, my body the battlefield again and the battlefield losing ground— “PLEASE—”

Shifted Fate: From Slave To Wolf Queen

Shifted Fate: From Slave To Wolf Queen

I contested, strongly. Such responsibility, the fate of two kinds in my hands... I didn’t know how to feel. Lazarus tilted his head, studying me. “You could be right but call it a feeling.” He jested. “Really?” I glowered; sarcasm laced on my tongue. “I’m supposed to trust your intuition on this.” He chuckled, amusement swirling within his orbs. “Ma Cherie, I’ve seen alot of wolves and Melody is unique. White wolves are a rarity; her fur reflects light blue under bright lighting.”

My Monster

My Monster

"You can't protect me from the truth. You know that." His fingers flex against the wheel. "I know." Silence settles between us before I ask the question that's been weighing down on my chest. "How does the vessel actually break the curse?" He glances at me. "They hum." I blink. "Hum?" "A song," he corrects gently. "It’s not sung with the throat, but with power. It's... harmonic and supernatural. It resonates across realms." I swallow hard. "And the purpose of the song?"

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!
