The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I closed my eyes. I could understand why that secret would be closely kept by the sirens. If the brethren knew that half-sirens could sing brethren to death, sirens would be hunted by both mankind and brethren alike. It would be motivation enough for a woman to kill her child, or herself. In mankind’s hands, a half-siren could sing mermaids to land, Fae ships to wreckage, dragons into man-form... In mankind’s hands, a half-siren was a weapon.

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Caught by fangs

Caught by fangs

"Who is Egon and are you truly sirens, am I really one?" "Yes." The woman's green eyes glowed under the moonlight and Maris admired them. "Egon is our leader for now, since we lost you." "We?" "Sirens. Look at this," she pointed at her wrist and Maris noticed it had the same symbol as hers. A full stop surrounded by six commas just like the sun. "It's a prove we're sirens from the Criadora kingdom." The siren pinched herself and rubbed ever slowly on the symbol and Maris winced, glancing down at her own wrist to see her symbol glowing yellow.

A Wager for The Siren

A Wager for The Siren

Two boys made a wager to make a siren princess fall in love. Neither expected her to choose them both. In 2036, humans and supernatural beings share the same world—but peace doesn’t mean equality, and centuries-old rivalries are far from forgotten. Bonded with Four Mates

Bonded with Four Mates

We walked through what had once been a throne room, and then I remembered a story Elle had told me about the origin of the enchanting sirens. “I think we're in the ancient palace of Crete,” I said with a frown. “Elle told me the origin of the sirens of her kind. She says it all started with the ancient kingdom of Crete, and if I'm not too bad at geography, some Crete is within the ruins of Orurin.”

Bloodline of Mayan Gods; Betrothed in Shadows Bound by Blood

But his expression was unreadable, his voice was laced with curiosity and sexual need. *I've never seen anything like this before. How did you create this...this bubble of glass?* He pushed on it and it held solid. *I am Daughter of Lukarien, Siren Queen, Raven Delacroix. and mother of the one you are searching for, What do you want with my daughter?* I say firmly, showing my protective nature. *You are of Royal Siren bloodline!* he was shocked, he and his men bowed to me again, this time with gentleness and great respect.

Siren and Wolf

Siren and Wolf

I look out and I find a sign explaining the history of Siren's Point it reads: Welcome to Siren's Point founded by James Kennedy in 1708. Mr. Kennedy is renowned for his hunt of sea maids. It is believed that when the mist would come onto the island the sea maids would follow James Kennedy to the shore. At night if you listen very carefully you can hear their song being heard on the cliffs of Siren's Point. This island became a prison in 1721 when James Kennedy was found guilty of piracy and being a traitor to the crown. Mr. Kennedy was the first prisoner to set foot in these cells. He died shortly after from typhoid in 1723.

Losing My Siren Luna

Losing My Siren Luna

It’s what was driving my anxiety just before Cherum mind linked me, I’m sure. “Well, Alpha, it seems that the Luna has some connection to a siren? One appeared out of the sea and started calling her princess, saying he’s here to protect her. I tried to take her away from him, sensing he had gone mad to accuse Ela of being a mermaid, but the lass wouldn’t let me. She demanded I leave them be.” I growled, knowing that I was too late. Shit. He had already found her; this siren man named Cedric, who King Brennus claimed was a very skilled warrior.

One of the best books I read. A heroine I respect, a society where men serve women they love, women’s and children’s rights. Sirens, fairies, elves and dark fae. A reminder that everyone has a story, experiences make you, the importance of communication and to seize the day - you only live once.

The Wolf Among Us

The Wolf Among Us

Nobody knows what they look like, nobody's lived long enough to tell. It was the usual serene wind that blanketed the night of 1876, the same cold breeze, some may even call it a loveless touch, caressing the tides and pulling ferrymen into sin, down, down, down, until they drown. It has been a longtime warning not to sail after midnight, word on the street is that a siren was born, furious and vengeful because of the death of a previous lover. She sings a tranquil lullaby, with the voice of an angel and face likewise. She would show up in the middle of the ocean, amidst the cerulean waves and the storm that comes along every breath she takes. Eyes glowing in color like that of where she liv

True Luna's Return

True Luna's Return

Her eyes met mine, filled with a mixture of sorrow and something else—perhaps fear, or even guilt. "Dire Wolves are the first creation of the Moon Goddess Selene," she began quietly, "They were her greatest and most terrible creation. At the beginning of time, Selene wanted a species that embodied both the strength and beauty of wolves and the power of divine beings. But what she created was far from perfect."

Mated to the Alpha twins

Mated to the Alpha twins

My head clicked as I suddenly recalled reading about them back in the palace Library. They are called SIRENS. They are known to be despicable people in the kingdom. They were banished from the kingdom because of their cunningness and their dubious act of killing their prey by luring them in with their melody and their prey are only men. They relocated to rivers after they were banished and they started living there as their new home.
