Why Did They Kill Off Carl In The Walking Dead Novels & Stories

"You… really are impressive. No wonder out of all the women, Mr. Finch set his sights only on you and treated you like a treasure. It's just a pity…" Carl also sighed for Rose. He then said, "Don't worry, I'll be more resolute. I won't let your suffering last too long." "Oh, really? Well, thank you for that." Rose chuckled softly. She didn't see this as Carl's kindness toward her. He simply hoped she would meet her end sooner rather than later so as to avoid any accidents or chance of unexpected developments. "You won't be alone. After you die, I will use what's in this syringe to end my own life. A life for a life; that seems fair," Carl said.

I could see the worry in his eyes and I knew the fight was worse than what I was being told. Why? Why couldn’t Eli just have accepted that I didn’t want him the first time? Why did our kind have to fight to the death over every fucking thing? My heart was breaking as I crumbled to the floor and Carl caught me. He held onto me while I cried and we waited for news of the fight. I almost had a heart attack when Sebastian’s voice came into my mind as he informed me that Eli and the hybrids were finally dead. Carl picked me up bridal style and in the blink of an eye, we were going down the stairs two at a time.

Devon and Nate are barking orders and trying to find out what the fuck happened. “What’s all the excitement about?” Kylani asks “Carlisle is dead. They went down to get him ready for the two of you to talk to and Draven found him dead.” I answered. “How?” Mykenzie asked. “No one is sure yet,” I replied.

“It was already done.” The silence that followed was heavy, with its own shape and presence. I sat with him in it and didn’t try to fill it. “He found me in the back room,” Carl continued after a moment. His voice had become a little rougher, not much, just enough to show how hard he was trying to keep it steady. “I thought he was going to kill me too. I was eleven and I was sure that was the end of it.” He almost smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “But he just looked at me for a long time and then he said – he said killing me would be too easy. That letting me live with it was the better punishment.” He paused. “Those were his exact words. The better punishment. As if I had done somethin

He returned home once a year, but never saw Yosef again. When Carl was twelve, he received devastating news: his mother had died. He returned to the small town for her funeral, which was attended only by his grandfather, Fred. The police claimed it was a suicide, but Carl couldn’t believe it. Back in the Nelson household, Carl was overwhelmed with grief. He heard rumors that Yosef had returned to town, which reignited a flicker of hope in his heart. Carl thought Yosef, the future head of the family, might be able to help him find the truth.

Carl asked, ignoring Odys’s vehement protests. “I want to know who killed my parents,” Scott said firmly. “Killed? Scott, what do you mean? Colin and Eloise died in an accident. I came to see their bodies myself,” Carl insisted. “No, they were attacked by a… quite large animal.” “And how do you know that? If I may ask?” Darius asked.

He wasn't grieving; he was shaking with the fear that John might still be alive. "He’s gone," Carl wailed, forcing a jagged sob. He dropped to his knees, clutching his stomach. "Oh, no! My brother! It’s my fault! I should’ve been better to him. I should’ve seen the pain!" Julian knelt beside him, his hand heavy on Carl’s shoulder. "Stop, Carl. It’s not on you. He was... he was unstable. You couldn't have seen this coming." "But I did!" Carl shrieked, playing the grieving sibling with sickening precision. "I saw him looking at the drop! We have to go back... we have to plan the service. We can't let him stay out here in the cold."

Looking very nervous. “What’s going on?” Sylas asked. “What are you doing here, Carla?” “You two should sit down,” Rick told us. Sylas took my hand and led me to the chairs by the desk. Carla came over from the window where she had been waiting. She twisted her hands in front of her as she took a deep breath. “Carla, you obviously have something to tell us,” Sylas said. “Just say it.” She took a deep breath. “Carson is dead,” she stated. “He’s been murdered.”

But he wasn’t frowning now as he wet the cloth again and returned to Caleb’s neck to clean the oozing pus. Caleb’s eyes were closed, his long dark lashes still against his ashy skin. “Fucking Dark Storm warrior my ass,” Carl mumbled to himself as he lifted the clothe to Caleb’s forehead. “Taking a knife for someone else is the worst way to die you fool.” Caleb remained still but from Carl’s actions of talking and cleaning Maggie could tell that this was not the first time Carl was cleaning Caleb up and she wondered how many of the others knew this.

"All those who has recently crossed paths with him are dead... There must be a reason. Augustus is not dumb to kill important personality like Carl for no reason... Carl might have find out something which he shouldn't have." "We need to find out the reason." Lucifer smirked. "Looks like someone has weakness."
