Destined By The Moon Goddess

Destined By The Moon Goddess

The want of power is the principle driving force of evil, and it applies in every area of life. Even the mundanes had their own fair share of power struggles, with exceptional crime rates rising each time elections drew near, and it has always been a thing of pity that the poor masses could never fathom that these crimes against them were in one or the other, whether directly or indirectly, originally orchestrated by the very people campaigning to be elected into different public offices, and like sheep with a shepherd, they blindly vote them into office, giving them the right to do the unthinkable under the protection of the law.

Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha

Escaping From My Ruthless Alpha

She gestured toward a stool, and I sat reluctantly. She remained standing, towering over me, a crooked smile playing on her lips. “You seek answers to the suffering of your Pack. Tell me, Alpha, why do you think your people are cursed?” “Because everything that’s happened is unnatural,” I said without hesitation. “The drought, the disease, the death of every firstborn. We didn’t just incur bad luck overnight.” The witch raised a brow, seemingly unimpressed. “And yet, you Alphas are so quick to assume that the universe is conspiring against you when it’s merely the consequences of your own actions.”

Charolette Hunt
This is a wonderful book and I truly hope that there is happiness for Kamryn on the other side of all her traumatic experiences. I will say that the author weaves complexity in her characters that makes us love and hate them at the same time.

I loved this book. The character growth and story progression were excellent. The author is also able to create side stories with all of the characters in the book. Lorien and Lyssa, Orion and Rmonica, Kevyn and Thalia. This book is a great example of a seasoned author.

Second Chance at Love: From Divorcee to the Billionaire's Bride

Second Chance at Love: From Divorcee to the Billionaire's Bride

Anyone with ears could hear the cold indifference and disdain in Luke's tone. "That's right, he's not pitiful at all!" Wendy chimed in. "There are countless people suffering in this world. Max is just one among many. There are those born into misery who still remain positive and hopeful. Why should he feel justified in committing crimes and blaming them on life's unfairness? Any excuse for wrongdoing is purely selfish." I agreed with her. Max's upbringing certainly influenced him, but ultimately, the choice between right and wrong was his own.

The Billionaire’s Revenge Quest

The Billionaire’s Revenge Quest

Tamara is nothing like me, she’s not the kind that seeks revenge or even cares for that, she solely aims to make sure she’s happy and everyone around her is, she is the old version of me and as much as it’s flattering, I would hope for her to change as such behavior will only cause her pain. She’s a good person but good people’s lives are never as easy as they should be. They are often dealt a tough hand in life; they give selflessly and expect kindness in return, but it rarely comes their way. Meanwhile, bad people seem to glide through without care, giving people nothing and ending up with nothing, which is fine because they are not losing anything. That's why it feels easier to embrace wi

Fooling the CEO

Fooling the CEO

I choose to be fair and not to be good. You’re wrong when you told me that I deserve the world, because you’re the one who deserves that. Now, I understand why God works in such a mysterious way. Plenty of times I asked him why am I the one who’s suffering when bad people don’t, only for me to realize that I’m also the bad man. Now I know that not all good people can be shown with a bright smile or greets you with flowery words. Sometimes, they are just sitting on a dirty couch wearing a black suit and tie, glaring with his intimidating eyes.

My Best Friend : He's the one I have

My Best Friend : He's the one I have

Despite not having to experience that before since they got the company on a silver platter. “ What if all of this is karma for what we did to Mira and her parents? ” Nicole spoke out all of a sudden. As much as she hated to admit it. She felt that all of these misfortunes they are facing were as a result of the wicked things they have done in the past. “ What are you saying, Mom? We only did what was right didn't we? ” Elina argued unreasonably as always. “ Well, There's nothing like fairness in this world. The strong always takes all while the weak either takes nothing or becomes eliminated! And since they were weak they deserve to be eliminated! ” Mr Edison spoke up with no emotion at all

RESCUED BY THE DON'S BROTHER

RESCUED BY THE DON'S BROTHER

Ejay's fate, as depicted, highlights the profound truth that actions, particularly those rooted in wrongdoing or malice, often lead to repercussions that ultimately catch up with the individual. His tale reinforces the idea that evil deeds, no matter the motivations or justifications, do not lead to lasting success or fulfillment. It underscores the notion that the pursuit of self-serving, harmful actions carries an inevitable toll on an individual's life, often resulting in personal downfall, remorse, and a sense of loss.

Dangerous Psychos

Dangerous Psychos

I am good. I followed the rules, always did my best, and yet one bad thing after another happens to me. And yet my father, a bad man, is alive while nearly half a dozen people lay six feet beneath the earth for being good. How does this make any sense? How is this God's will? Why does God punish the good? Fuck God’s will. Fuck God in general. Didn't I make it clear that I don't want to hear from him anymore? That I want nothing to do with him, or anything remotely related to him?

The Billionaire's Queen

The Billionaire's Queen

The stars that decorate the darkness of the sky will also shine. "Revenge is not the solution," I said. "There is no justice here unless you are rich and can afford to pay the right people to get your case through." "That... fuck that fact.” We sighed at the same time, both fed up with the fact that so many people have been victimized all over the world. Only if there is fairness in this world, justice would prevail. There is no case. Only the rich and powerful can achieve those.

YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND

YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND

Star asked inquisitively. "You don't need to be merciful to them if you really want to win them over." Gwen said and turned to catch Star's gaze. " Have you ever wondered why the wicked live longer? Because they have no conscience to spare anyone's life. If you must win this fight, you must decide within yourself to be wicked and more focused, else, they would use your kindness against you just the way they did to you in your first existence." "Why telling me what I already know?" Star questioned.
