“How are you feeling?” I didn’t answer, keeping my eyes fixed straight ahead. I wasn’t in the mood to talk, especially not to him. I could still feel the burn of Lydia’s fingers on my scalp, and the sting of her words. Fuck them. Fuck all of them. I have never done a thing to annoy someone so why does everyone hate me? I scoffed, although the words slowly, but deeply cut into my heart. “I don't mind, but I'd make sure to see your disgraceful end.” He sneered. Why was he so adamant? Even now, I wondered why the man hated me so much. It seems as though he has known me all his life, and has hated me within every second of it. “Why do you hate me so much?” I finally managed to ask. “Because I loathe girls like you, who find every means to crawl their ways into the hands of powerful men.”
