I'm shocked at what I see. There's blood trickling down his forehead and there's a bruise under his eye. It didn't swell his eye, but it was enough to discolor the area around it so far. I watch as the blood drips on the floor of the bedroom. He wipes it with the sleeve of his blazer. "What are you doing up here?"

Blood dripped steadily from a deep cut running along his arm. And judging from the murderous look in his eyes…Something had gone terribly wrong.

Seeing her situation, I already conclude that she's suffering from menstrual cramps again. "Lis, are you alright? Do you still have extra pads?" she nodded at my question. "This is just normal, Relle. Worry about Callie more. I think she needs a check up," after saying those, I immediately roam around to find our cat. I saw Callie at the top of our counter table. My eyes also lay to her bowl. Lissy was right. She was not really eating. "Callie what's wrong?" I worriedly asked looking at my persian cat with white fur and large expressive pair of blue eyes.

You can see strands of it laying all over area. One of the eyeballs is missing, the socket looks like a deep black hole sitting on their face. It gives you a creepy feeling; almost like you could see deep in the soul. It’s eye is laying over to the side while the other is hanging loose out of the socket, blood leaking out of the tear ducts, almost as if the person was crying blood before they succumbed to the fatality of their wounds. The blood runs down the face, in a tear streak path, that leads past the nose to the mouth.

The corners of my red eyes when I heard about my parents; sometimes I wondered if they were still alive, maybe I wouldn't be so miserable, right? A powerful force grazes my stomach, my body rolling to the ground like a ball. A viscous liquid stuck to my shirt stuck to my back. I know my back is bleeding. I forced myself to put my hands on the ground and sat up; my head was also bleeding, so I was a little drunk, and my vision blurred. Her eyes couldn’t focus, and Claudia almost looked like a double image. She just needed to stay safe until someone found her.

It went to hide under the dining table inside the house, and then I bent down to check. It was then I heard it purr before Trent came inside as well. "That's Catty. The cat! You scared her," he said, breathing heavily and looking dirty because he got some mud on him from the rain. "Stay low for now. Besides, my grandmother's house is untraceable. He wouldn't find you if you stay one goddamn night! Shit, I broke my leg," he cursed. Soon the cat came closer to me. It was black in color, like full black, with yellow eyes.

But that’s when I saw it. Blood. A thin stream, dark and wet, slid from her nose. Her nose. Not Katarina’s. Luce blinked. Touched her upper lip. Swore under her breath. “The fuck?” she muttered, wiping it with her thumb. Katarina’s eyes flicked to mine. Shaken. Silent. She slipped past Luce and into my room. Luce stared at the blood like she’d never bled from anything before. And I knew Luce didn’t bleed easily.

’ With her back to him, she dabbed her eye with a fingertip. ‘I see. You’ve just sprung a spontaneous leak.’ He didn’t try to turn her round, but he was so close behind her she could feel his breath on her hair. ‘Should I call a plumber?’ ‘I wouldn’t bother. I think it’s under control.’ Turning back to him, she tried to smile. ‘I’m sorry. It’s my cat. He got run over last night and the prognosis wasn’t too good, as they say. The fish reminded me.’

We rush over to her, noticing the eye on Nova’s forehead has opened, and when Caterina looks up at us, it’s with white pupils. “I…I can’t see!” she screams out, feeling the air when Kai cups her face. “Kai, I can’t see! I can’t see!” Blood drips from her eyes this time as she uses her own claws to scratch at them, screaming all the while. I’m frozen in place at what is happening right now, not knowing how to respond to this situation at all. Nova sits up, all three of the eyes open and looking straight at me, then turning to Caterina.
