THE PRIDE OF JUSTICE

THE PRIDE OF JUSTICE

"I have nothing to lose, and everything to gain." A slow smile spread across Ghost's face, the blue light momentarily illuminating a glint of admiration in his eyes. A flicker of a plan seemed to spark in his gaze. Anya, a new recruit in the fight for freedom, knew this was just the beginning. The rebellion had a new weapon, a former slave with a thirst for vengeance and a stolen blade at her side. The fight for New Shanghai had just begun. Author: Gideon Fiadzomor Copyright protected

Lust and Loyalty (MM)

Lust and Loyalty (MM)

He could do it again and permanently this time. "You said you two were friends. So why the fuck would you want to absorb him?" I asked, not like his answer would do much to make me understand. Nothing could make me understand him killing Cyrus. "Don't you sometimes wish to be your friend?" his cheerful tone threw me off. He was psychotic to say the least. "To have that power… the seven deadly sins are considered gods in hell. Every human possesses at least three. I want the respect that comes with the title and the power they effortlessly feed on."

HIS STOLEN PRIDE

HIS STOLEN PRIDE

From there, she could see the valley stretching wide — fields, stone ruins, the outline of the city far in the haze. Alessandro stopped, catching his breath. “When I was a boy,” he said quietly, “my father used to tell me pride was our blood. That a De Luca never bends, never begs, never breaks. But maybe that’s why we’re all dying — too proud to change.” Elena stepped beside him. “Then maybe it’s time to break the curse.” He looked at her — really looked — and something unspoken passed between them. It wasn’t a promise, or even forgiveness. It was recognition: two people born from the same ruin, finally seeing each other without their names between them.

Vows of sin

Vows of sin

Eyes like cold obsidian that measured every secret and sin. No words. Just a judgment so absolute it crushed the air between them. Giordano’s knees hit the floor, the weight of a thousand failures dragging him down. “You don’t have to do this,” he whispered. “I never meant—” “You watched my mother die,” Alessia’s voice cut through him like ice. “You held the gun. Even if you didn’t pull the trigger, you were there. You chose power over blood.” Dante slowly drew his weapon, deliberate, merciless.

All in all, I liked the overall concept of the novel. Love, hatred, revenge, etc all emotions displayed by each character was totally good. There were some loopholes here and there in story such as the Ring pendant being with samrat was later being with Erica. But overall good work by the author👍

This is so dark and twisted. Just, WOW! I'm only 78% through but I'm definitely reading your other stories when I'm done with this one. This has me feeling all the bad feelings. FL is an amazing character. There's some editing that can be done, fix a few words, but it's still a great story. Bravo!

Alpha's Beauty

Alpha's Beauty

It was terrifying beyond belief for Faith. "Told you, Pride, supremacy. They cannot let go of it. Even it's their own daughter who comes in the way." Faith's only thought was that, it was a cruel world. Power is more important than family. Hate prevails over love and no one is to be trusted.

COME TO ME

COME TO ME

Tom did not take the accusation lightly, his hands clenched under Suzanne’s. The vampire proceeded to explain, “All the seven deadly sins that humanity is guilty of; lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride have somehow created a splinter to the gates of hell. The black mist is but the beginning.” “Technically, you are a part that damnation,” Tom retaliated. The vampire covered his mouth in mock surprise, “Touche…but like I said before, my kind and I played no part in this. Look, I am here to offer my aid. I am not your enemy.”

Pride and Promises

Pride and Promises

I tried again bravely despite feeling my heart hammering against my chest. There was that laugh again- the laugh that promised cruelty and madness. It made me feel as though this person wasn't mentally stable but I pushed that thought away. Mentally stable or not, he had killed someone and caused so much pain to everyone. He deserved to rot in the hell of hell.

Money and pride

Money and pride

I still have difficulty breathing and puke whenever I recall that scene, I killed a woman with my own hands after all and I will not be able to brush off the guilt my whole life. I had committed a grave sin at the age of 12, my mom died after three months of the incident when I turned 13 years old. At that point, in time, I thought that my fate would be the same as my mom and that woman if I did not get out of the shithole I am living in. That motivation kept me going up until now. I had to study hard, succeed in life and prove to the world that unlucky children can still manage to find happiness. *************
