The Billionaire's Replacement Bride

The Billionaire's Replacement Bride

she said softly. "Do you really love him so much to marry him?" Gina inquired. Ariana responded with a smile once again. "As far as I know, marrying a widower, especially one with a child, is not easy. This is Indonesia, not a Western country that easily accepts the status of a man or a woman. What I know about this country is the social perception of those who are widowed or widowers, virgins or not. Am I wrong?" the woman asked hesitantly.

The Lycan King's Breeder

The Lycan King's Breeder

"Where is the widow now? She has run off and abandoned you two here. Yet you claim that I am the foolish one. Did you even know that she is Willow, the old king's ex—wife?" A dark chuckle erupted from his lips and my angry rants stopped. "You think I didn't know?" He asked as he slowly turned to stare at me. "You think I didn't know who she was? Behind that veil is a woman who has been hurt by her kind... A woman who is ready to do whatever it takes to get her revenge... A woman I am happy to be working with! And mark my words, she will be the only animal I spare when I get out of here!"

Renee.
GREAT BOOK! I loved this! Such a nice, simple read with enough plot twists to keep it interesting. Only critique is that chapter sucked! It felt rushed and I don’t agree with Talon still loving Willow, it didn’t fit with the character POVs!

This is a good read. Well rounded characters but I feel the author decided at some she had to make Willow a villain to justify the love between the King and the breeder. Emily’s character is very irritating.

Emergency Wife

Emergency Wife

Margrethe Cathedra; his mother’s church and where he wedded that day. If Vera had seen the Will or had it been read to her hearing, she would have wondered why his twin brother whom she had been with and supported for many years than she can remember gave her only 30%, while he gave 50% (percent) to a woman he only met that day. What was the rationale behind the Will? was the woman a witch? Vera would have asked. Rohan’s answer would be ‘yes’ she is a witch. Rohan had already tagged the woman a witch; since she came into his life, she has turned his life upside down. One minute he wants to be with her, the next minute, he was annoyed by her.

Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams

There’s no packing a bag and starting over somewhere new where no one knows your name either because they will find you. They always do! You can’t leave nor disappear. You only leave your husband’s house in a fucking body bag or as a widow, and even then, your freedom still comes with strings still tied around your throat because in reality you’re never free. Blood doesn’t forget, Neither does power and neither does pride which means a widow only ends up as a pawn in the games of the rich or even your death might become a transaction to another family. I glance to my left and I see Rafe, he’s standing by the far end of the room

THE WIDOW WHO NEVER WAS

THE WIDOW WHO NEVER WAS

Iris said as I burst into laughter. “I wanted that as much as you did but if he died just like that without suffering, of what use would my second chance be??? I want him to feel every pain I felt and that can only be possible if we end up getting married…he was a widower in my previous life but this time around, I would be the widow.” "That's my girl!!!! Look, I was planning on traveling back soon but because of you, I won't do that anymore…I am with you all the way in this plan of yours.” Iris said as I smiled.

The wife

The wife

"I really can't say no Nathan... You helped me and without you, I would have never been here. I'll help you." Nathan swore he heard his wife shrieked. He ignored it since it eas only the concern of a loving wife. She saw the rational, even if she wouldn't say it. "Thanks for taking care of my mother. How's she coping?" "Frankly, she's been withdrawn. She hits well but you know... She hardly talks and she spends a lot of her time upstairs." Rodriguez's wife stated. Nathan momentarily doubted who made his drink. "But she made this right?" He asked, raising his drink high for her to see what he was talking about.

The Widow's Game

The Widow's Game

Evangeline's Pov "She was holding up remarkably well." "Poor thing. So young to be a widow." "I heard she got his shares now." The whispers followed me like flies, and I let them because that’s what widows did. We floated through rooms in black dresses and let people say whatever they needed to say to make themselves feel better about death.

he said. “Bled?” Joseph said. “As incredulous as it seems, the widow was untouched,” Oliver said. “I can’t figure that one out.” “I can,” Joseph said proudly. After a long silence, and when he was sure he had their full attention, he continued. “The old couple knew who she was, although I don’t think she knows that they know. She’s the talk of Wichita Falls territory. Turns out she’s a spoiled socialite from Boston who married some rancher by proxy on a whim and, as luck would have it, the day she got to town was the day he was found dead on the side of the road.” He paused a minute to emit a chuckle while adding, “They call her the Paper

Widow on the Doorstep: In‑Laws Want Me Out

"Vera, Noah's gone, and you're still young. You can't spend the rest of your life alone. Why not remarry while you can? "Find someone to rely on, so you'll always have someone to take care of you. My cousin here is a good man. He won't let you down." I couldn't help but laugh in exasperation. "Noah hasn't been gone that long, and you're already trying to find me a new husband? Isn't that a little inappropriate?" Matthew's expression hardened at once. "What's inappropriate about it? We're doing this for your own good. You're still young. How can you spend the rest of your life as a widow?"
