Van is sitting against his dresser reading a chapter book. “I though you were suppose to be cleaning..” I tease him with a grin. “I am.” He claims with a smile. He turns a page of his book, “I'm dusting the inside of this book.” That was a pretty solid retort from a six year old and I'm kind of impressed. I laugh at him and shake my head. “Carry on.” I walk down the hall to Wilder's room and I knock on the door. It swings open and I am face to chest with Wyatt. “Well, hello.” He drawls, smiling down at me.

Wild had never been in a house before. Taking to an airbnb as their temporary housing until Kat got better. Wild... didn't know how to describe the place other than "better." It was so strange to see a real kitchen and a living room and all the rooms told in stories, but now he was there. Maybe you head out by midnight.” I licked my lips, watching the way she sipped her wine. “So... if I said I wanted to watch Aliens, would you be upset?” She raised an eyebrow. “No, I got something better for you, Aliens: The Director’s Cut.” I blinked. “Never seen that.” She looked at me like I’d just admitted I never had pizza. “It’s way better. Has a bunch of scenes, the original cut left out and adds so much to Newt’s backstory. Let me put it on.”

It wasn’t every day I got to see the Savage himself at one of these races. I tilted my head skyward, spotting rows upon rows of werewolves lining the rooftops of the buildings–the onyx sky dappled with the brilliant glow of their eyes. It was a kaleidoscope of color as they peered around, leaving warped, mystical shapes in their wake. My attention snagged toward a woman standing a few people to our left, raising her candy-red blouse and flashed her chest toward the bikers. Her shrill voice carried over the crowd despite the noise as she shouted, “Savage! Hey Savage! Look here, baby!”

Zora held it out to me, "this belongs to you." I gingerly held the book between my fingers in fear it would disintegrate to ash if I was too rough. The leather on this book had been embroidered with purple thread—the image of a howling wolf's head being formed. If I listened closely enough, I could make out faint whispers coming from the book—a cacophony of different sounds urging me to do one thing: open the book. "The wings called to him the way the wolf calls to you," Zora explained. She moved to exit the room with one last statement, "Only one person would make a better queen than you and when it comes time for them to rule, you will be proud."

I shall sleep often from now on; my body needs all the rest it could get. I can’t sleep again. I just woke up. “What to do now?” My eyes landed at the closed book on my table. It’s the book from the library that is about the town of Emberton. I haven’t found anything informative other than the map and the founders of the town. Maybe I should just head out? Nope. Not a good idea. Being outside is too risky. I don’t want another wolf pouncing at me or me unintentionally killing them with my blood.

"Oh god, you're so wild! It's wonderful, Andrew. Don't stop!" Rhyza's seemingly insane scream as he claimed her forcefully. “Fuck baby, you're the best! Shit! He then proceeded to claim her in a sideways manner. "Say my name; I want you to say it!" he ordered, then suddenly entered his girlfriend's femininity again.

When Molly and I got out at Grand Marais he asked me to talk for a minute before entering the beauty salon. "Okay. Go ahead Molly. I'll meet you inside." I tell her. "What is up with you? You're acting strange..." He gaze me. "I found another Wolf on the Mall." I let out. "What?" "Eric. Do you know him?" "Eric West? Yes. He's from White Earth Band . The last wolf from the Rabbit Lack Band lineage, that merged with others to make the White Earth Band. He's probably going to College in Duluth." He answers.
