Willow huffed, stood up, and stomped over to the chair beside Roman, plopping down with a scowl.
Roman’s entire frame relaxed the moment she was within reach. The scent of his cedarwood and rain cologne hit her, and her resolve began to melt like spring snow.
"Proceed," Roman nodded to the council.
His phone buzzed on the table. He checked it, his expression unreadable, and began to type. Willow’s own phone vibrated in her lap.
A Luna’s place is always beside her Alpha. Nowhere else.
Willow’s heart skipped. Butterflies erupted in her stomach, but she forced a stern face and narrowed her eyes at him. Roman looked at her then, his gaze roaming slowly over her features before meeting her eyes.
