Without a word, I remained seated across from them, my gaze fixed on the star-studded night sky beyond the window. "Don't be scared. I'm here," Ryan reassured her, his voice so tender it grated on my nerves. Emboldened, Willow giggled and grabbed his wrist, pressing herself even closer. "Ryan, your hands are so warm. Could you help me apply my lipstick? I want to look good for pictures later." Ryan took the lipstick she handed him. The two leaned in so close that their breaths mingled. The black feathers of Raymond's wings were as dark as the night sky, and something stirred in Ravi's chest as he watched those wings, as if he was living in a fantasy tale he had once read. Elijah sighs while unlatching an arm away from my back so that he can massage his creasing forehead. “Hold on. Jake Weasel pulled the van to a stop at a look-out point and switched the engine off. Jake got out, his hand going to his gun when a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness. WILLOW’S POV None of the girls dared to stop me again after that short fight and I did my laundry in peace. By six pm, I’m all freshened up and heading to the main castle to serve Alpha Killian. Like always, I’m praying in my heart not to meet Eleanor or Astrid on the way because I know any interaction with them right now is going to ruin my evening. “Willow!” A voice shouts out my name, stopping me in tracks. It’s a masculine voice, so I’m not too bothered as I turn around because I know it’s neither Astrid nor Eleanor, but my mood turns sour when my eyes fall on the person.

Then he goes to kiss my cheeks and then finally my neck. “Now, you should eat so that you can get well soon and we can work on your big appetite for me.” He freaking winks at me suggestively. I don't say anything. I just blush. So typical of Willow. That's the real Willow, not the confident one who shamelessly asks for a kiss.

Willow’s POV I shed my clothes without a second thought and stepped into the rivers soft currents as the cool morning air raised goosebumps on my skin. The water embraced me, grounding my restless spirit. I closed my eyes, letting the cleansing energy flow through me, preparing to immerse myself fully and become one with the river when the snap of a twig, caught my attention. My eyes flew open, scanning the forest around me. With a flick of my wrist, the water around me obeyed. A swirling vortex erupted, gathering immense force before I flung it directly at the source of the sound. It wasn't just a splash. It was designed to knock a full-grown man off his feet.
