The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

Meanwhile, a young man made his way to Adrian and said, “Sir, I killed that man from Internal Affairs and the whole city is searching for Kayn. It seems like Chase is rushing this.” The young man, Blade, was the captain of Wyvern Peak’s Steelblade Troop, and his family home was in Southeast. He had returned to his hometown but was called out by Mya to help with the emergency. Adrian got up from the sofa and said to Blade, “Does any of our troops come from Windton?” Blade said, “Yes. The data from Wyvern Peak shows that we have four thousand and two hundred people from Windton and they’ve all returned to their homes recently. Why are you bringing this up?”

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

Blue Wind goshawk was a violent demonic beast that liked to kill and had a strong lethality. Its most powerful move was the two wings behind it. Once they were waved, they could release cyan wind blades. The power of these wind blades was extremely amazing. Even a three-meter-thick tree could be directly cut off. If an ordinary warrior was hit by the wind blade, he would be seriously injured even if he did not die. At the same time! Its wings were still very sturdy. Ordinary weapons could not break them at all. Because of this. Many artifact craftsman experts liked to hunt down Blue Wind goshawk and use their wings to craft artifacts.

Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

Death Wolf

Death Wolf

A dread older than time crawled through the air, slithering under their skin. Birds screamed, fleeing into the night. The wind howled as if mourning. “She’s here,” Thora choked out, stumbling back. A collective shudder passed through the gathered warriors. The clouds did not simply gather. They circled. Something was coming. Zander was blind to all of it, trapped in a world of his own devastation. He sobbed against Butterfly’s hair, rocking her still form, pleading, bargaining with the gods who had long since abandoned him. “ZANDER!”

It was so good! Having to chose like that would be so hard, especially after their changes. But great read! It was nice to have an actual story line and not just a bunch of sex. Don’t get me wrong I love the passion in books but this was really good.

Bane of the Dragons

Bane of the Dragons

“If only the ground can just open up and swallow me, Jen. Just leave me alone.” There were shuffles heard and the bed dipped. When the woman spoke, she was close. “Don’t dwell on it. Just do your best next time.” “I am doing my best all the time, Jen,” she deadpanned. Her friend was silent. Jennifer Francis – or Jen, for her friends – was a Wind Knight from the 28th Squadron, just like her. Jennifer passed the survival mission with her three-man team yesterday, gaining the title of a Wind Knight, according to her ability.

The soft knocking of the cold northern wind on the window beside his bed was not the one that kept him lying awake. It was already past midnight but still, he couldn't sleep. He just lay there in the darkness, eyes wide open. Something's really troubling him, he just couldn't figure it out. He shifted his gaze towards the window. The wind was howling outside and he could hear the faint sound of waves hitting the rocks of the shore. A storm is about to pass by. He smiled at the thought of it. He secretly admired the storms that always pass by the country. The sound of fierce waves rocking fishermen's boats and howling winds had always marveled his heart. No matter how his family and neighbour

Wings of Momentum

Wings of Momentum

I had his arm pinned to his back while my wings beat at the air in big swings causing feathers and dust to cascade around us. He may be fast, but I was stronger, with wings. I pushed off of him, jumping as my wings beat downwards propelling me upward, and I perched on the railing that ran along the edge of the first floor platform. There I waited while he straightened his cloths. I hurt the wolfs pride, but what must be done is now done.

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

Cultivation with a System in the Modern World

She landed gracefully atop a rocky formation, her hands outstretched as frost gathered around her fingers. Her opponent clicked his tongue. "Not bad. But let’s see if you can handle this." He took a deep breath, then swung both hands forward. A powerful gust of wind burst forth, kicking up dust and small stones, turning the battlefield into a swirling storm. The wind whirled violently, forming small tornadoes that cut across the terrain, tearing through the jagged rocks like blades. Crystal narrowed her eyes, feeling the sharp wind slice at her skin. If she stayed still, she’d be overwhelmed. So she moved.

torstenlorange4
Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions

The latest installment in Brandon Sanderson's epic 'Stormlight Archive', 'Knights of Wind and Truth' dives deeper into the chaos of Roshar as ancient forces and human resilience collide. Kaladin, now grappling with his role beyond the battlefield, faces a new kind of storm—political intrigue and the weight of leadership. Meanwhile, Shallan’s fractured identities threaten to unravel her mission to uncover secrets that could save or doom nations. Dalinar’s quest for unity takes a darker turn as the origin of the Knights Radiant comes into question. Sanderson masterfully weaves these threads with jaw-dropping revelations, like the true nature of the spren bonds and the sinister machinations of the Ghostbloods. What I love most is how the characters’ personal battles mirror the world’s—every decision feels cosmic. That scene where Kaladin confronts his father about healing versus fighting? Chills.

Then there’s the mind-blowing expansion of the lore. The Sibling’s awakening in Urithiru isn’t just a plot device; it reshapes how we see the city’s sentience. And the flashback sequences—this time focused on a young Lift—add such quirky, heartfelt depth to the overarching mystery of Cultivation’s influence. By the end, you’re left gasping at how Sanderson ties minor details from previous books into earth-shattering payoffs. Also, the new Parshendi songlines hinting at a lost sibling? I’ve been scribbling theories in my notebook for weeks.
