Before going to bed, I took my diary and wrote down a quote from Lise Kiberwa's poetry collection called "Wind", Completely for no reason at all!: >>Like the wind, I don't want to belong anywhere. A short, neatly kept beard frames his mouth, the tips dipped in crimson lacquer as homage to every foe he’s felled. Blackened steel pauldrons embossed with a Phoenix’s wings, a crimson war‐cloak that billows like charged flame, and gauntlets etched with the same runic glyphs as his skin. Even in our silence, a low, rhythmic hum - like distant war drums - surrounds him. Grandmother used to tell me how his footsteps sometimes cracked the earth as though summoning thunder.

“Our blade is already waiting.” Thunder cracked outside the palace, as if the realm itself had heard the warning.

Raven stepped forward, eyes locked on The Wraith, Shadow swirling around her like a living storm. “You will not take them from me,” she said, each word a blade. The Wraith snarled, shadows rising for a final strike. Raven raised her blade, Shadow pouring into it, gold and black flames wrapping the steel. Lightning slammed down beside her, Ragnar stepping to her side, his storm meeting her Shadow. Together, they struck. Blade and lightning collided with The Wraith’s darkness, a shockwave tearing through the snow, the force knocking wolves and warriors off their feet.

The plane was up in the sky, among the clouds. After a short moment of turbulence, it flew steadily. I looked out at the clouds, feeling a wave of relief I had never felt before. Xander must have seen the contents on the thumb drive already, too. He was perhaps guessing how I found out about his secrets. His methods of climbing up the ladder and amassing wealth were so inconspicuous. Technically, someone like me, who had never once worked at the office, should not have been able to discover this.

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. To my shock, the passenger door opened and a girl came out. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop. I couldn’t help but wonder who she was and why Blade had decided to bring her along. They both shared words before walking towards the coffee shop. “Emily!” Blade called as he walked inside with his companion right behind him. “I’m right here,” I said waving my hands in the air to draw his attention.

It crackled with thunder, a harbinger of death's chill. Alkaid was just as quick, his wrists a blur as he wove a vast net of sword energy, a tapestry of blades that promised destruction. "Come at me!" they bellowed in unison, ready to clash. The colossal shadow of a blade, charged with the ferocity of a thunderclap, bore down on Howard. The wind screamed around him, and the earth itself seemed to scream in shock. Sword shadows rained down like a tempest, their shrill cries slicing through the air—swift as lightning, relentless as a force of nature.

They threw fists and kicks with no technique or restraint; only raw fury and jealousy drove every blow. They roared and cursed, beating each other mercilessly, as if they were not brothers bound by blood but mortal enemies with nothing left to lose. In the end, both collapsed onto the ground, battered and exhausted. Their expensive suits were torn, faces bruised and bleeding, eyes filled with nothing but pure hatred for each other. Jake wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and staggered to his feet. He stared down at Dean with a dark, vicious gaze and spoke slowly. “Dean, from today on, you’re no longer my brother. I’m taking Morgan. May the best man win.”

The nozzle on his head spewed flames to intercept the Funnel's shots, while numerous sharp blades suddenly shot out from his flapping wings. The blades were palm-sized. Though small, they were all exceptionally sharp. Victor swung the Ultra-Energy Solar Sword diagonally at the sky. "Extreme Thunder Blast!" A ball of light shot from the sword tip. The light ball exploded in mid-air upon contact with the first blade. The energy released by the Extreme Thunder Blast destroyed everything within a hundred-meter radius.
