I can see the faint outline of what looks like wings spread behind her. Wings of fire that seem to take the shape of a heart… A piercing scream rips through the air as her power increases tenfold and surges into the sky, emanating in waves around her. The cover of the book was made of the same material as it's pages. and if we give it a close look we can see the sketch is about a fallen angel, our ancestors. The angel's wings are detached from her back, same as the fallen angels who were punished by chopping off their wings. I randomly opened a page, the language wasn't english, it had some weird hand written notes. I don't remember knowing any such language. Its alphabets were more like a design than any normal letter. But surprisingly I could read them! Like how tf?! I know, I don't know these letters but somehow I could understand them. Weird affff.

Give in. I closed my eyes and felt him deep inside me. I felt him clawing away in there, and I let go, dropping whatever barrier was holding him back. A ring of fire spread across my eyes. My entire body was a light yellow fire with bright orange and red tips. Wings erupted from my shoulder blades, spreading wide beside me. They were covered in orange and deep red flames. Every step I took turned the sand on the shore into glass.

A large pair of wings made from fire had sprouted from his back sometime in the clutter and he was flapping them wildly. With every flap he spread air to the already raging fire below him. The ice shards melted instantly under the extreme heat. “His wings, go for the wings!” Raphael shouted, and he was right. I instantly forged a staff from ice and sent it hurtling through the air towards his wings. I thought because it was made of more ice than the shards it would withstand, but It melted before it even reached his wings.
