The woman began to rise further into the air and the fiery figure’s hands started moving towards her. The figures' wings began to wrap around them both.

Rori looked on in terror as Mina’s eyes began to glow purple, but as she glanced at Kristi, her friend looked like she was in pain. “Leave them alone Mina!” Rori roared and almost as if her anger fueled the flits they appeared to grow in size and intensity. Murdok roared at the top of his lungs and let a large plume of fire escape his throat, attempting to lure the small fire creatures away from the suffering boy, but as the inferno burst free the flames seemed to move on their own and began to swirl around Rori’s body.
