Wings Of Fire Series Novels & Stories

Al their conflicting emotions, al the sly things they'd done, al the things they only dreamed about doing in the deepest, blackest parts of their hearts. Fire and ice licked over her flesh. The fire was due to the pain lancing through her body from the knives driven through the palms of her hands and the one just beneath her sternum. It felt like the fire was consuming her, burying her within its raging depths, devouring her very soul. The ice, well the ice was from the weakness stealing through her and dousing the fire beneath it.

Mane had just employed one of those many moves: Exploding Wings. Mane’s mumble was the trigger for the huge fiery wings that grew on his back. The wings were several dozens of meters long and several meters wide. When they appeared on Mane’s back they rose high into the sky, and flapped rapidly. Yet their beating didn’t lift Mane up or take him into the sky. With the beating of those wings, the cry of a Phoenix filled the ears of all who were here, and several large flames descended upon the retreating goblins, burning them all to a crisp. The fire was stronger, completely eliminating the goblins in less than a second.

When I was almost upon it, the creature's face turned, twisted, that awful smile lighting up its molten features, and it rose almost to its feet, its wings opening up fully, the golden hue of its feathers dazzling my eyes. I blinked away the glaring light, but refused to stop, holding out my arms. Beneath my skin the blue veins were glowing, growing brighter with each step closer that I took, and then when the Power was just a few metres away, it burned the brightest of all, the heat erupting from my hands. The fireball hit the Angel's wings with so much force that it was flung backwards where it rolled, desperately trying to extinguish the flames. These were no ordinary flames though and I

Benjamin staggered to his sides, his limbs trembled and his breathing labored as his whole body seize up, he let out a low growl. Emily held Sydney with her freed hand, her talons digging into his flesh. He howled in pain as the flames sizzled his wrist, and he yanked his hand away. She seized the opportunity, summoning dark energies and flinging them at Sydney. The force of the blast knocked him off, sending him crashing into the shelf behind him. Books, papers, and knick-knacks went flying as he tumbled to the floor. Her wings burst from her back, as dark and glistening as midnight. She wrapped them protectively around Chris, shielding him as they plummeted from the window. The air rushed

I didn’t want to pull on my wings because I really liked the hoodie I was wearing, and my wings would make mincemeat of it. I caught her eyes and all I could see was anger and hatred boiling in them. I pushed with my aura so hard my hands felt like fire against her arms. She started making a sound that was close to pain and then suddenly Cash pulled us apart. I was now standing behind Cash as he faced the clawing wolf himself. “Stop it, before you get hurt!” Cash growled at her. She immediately stopped and started sobbing as she quickly rubbed the burn marks on her arms that my hands had left behind.

"Kill him! Kill him! Kill this fake Isidore!" "Liar!" I shouted. Flames erupted from my mouth, scaring countless warriors into running away from me. I spread my wings as I spewed fire and flew toward Galen. My wings were fully spread, and they were longer than my body. As I flew, I blocked out a large part of the sun. The warriors looked up at me in shock from my shadow. I have grown accustomed to my wings. Flying high, gliding, landing, turning. I use my wings as deftly as I use my hands. They have been completely accepted by my body as my new organs.

I can see the faint outline of what looks like wings spread behind her. Wings of fire that seem to take the shape of a heart… A piercing scream rips through the air as her power increases tenfold and surges into the sky, emanating in waves around her. I see the swirls of the flames behind her move before I see a tiny part of her left wing snap and shrivel into embers of ash. It’s too blinding to look at, and I’m forced to avert my gaze.

"I would never let you die." Hope whispered to me. Then she let go of me and stood beside me with a corner smile, confident, she made a simple motion with her hand and that reddish shape spread further, like wings, but not just any wings, they were Dragon wings. As the wings passed through the shadows and places a bluish flame appeared and began to burn everything that wasn't solid. I could tell the shadows were writhing and screaming, they were screams of agony as they were consumed, the runes of protection disappeared and the magic that was in the place dissipated, but these flames didn't hit us, it was as if the people who were with me were immune to them.
