Forbidden Desire : The Bully’s Sinful Obsession

Forbidden Desire : The Bully’s Sinful Obsession

His eyes had drifted away now, like he was lost in something deeper. “She said it had to do with speech or something… but even after rewatching it, I still didn’t get it,” I added, frustration leaking into my tone. Then I heard him murmur softly, almost like he wasn’t even speaking to me, “Never thought it was this way…” “Huh?” I asked, pretending not to have heard just so he’d say more. “The Wings of Freedom,” he said. That phrase…The Wings of Freedom, wasn’t random. It was the theme of the design I had created, inspired by the traditional butterfly dance. Something I held close.

The Alpha King's Omega

The Alpha King's Omega

“Impossible-” Wings of fire unfurled from Freya’s back, vast and radiant, their feathers forged from golden embers. Her hair streamed upward in currents of molten sunlight. Her eyes burned, not mortal, not borrowed, but as twin cores of dawn. Every line of her body blazed with raw sovereignty, not given, not inherited, claimed. Freya lifted the Sword, her voice rising steady and final above the storm. It was not a scream. It was a vow. “This flame was never yours. It was waiting for me.”

Equivale: Finding His Heart - Book two

Equivale: Finding His Heart - Book two

“You are the symbol of liberty and the truest free spirit. When the body is tamed but the heart remains free. When you gain spiritual freedom becoming wise beyond human understanding. Unfurl your wings and fly, great Pegasus of the sky.” I finally understand its meaning as fire erupts through my veins, and my mane and tail transform into blue flames. My four hooves produce flames too. Then a sharp pain shoots through my back before black feathery wings sprout from my spine and catch us on the air current preventing us from reaching the bottom, lifting us up. “Oh my! This is incredible!” I hear Rayne exclaim and I find myself agreeing with her as I focus on working my wings to get us back to

Devil's Redemption

Devil's Redemption

She was using the weapon, not hiding behind it. Under the loud clanks and sparks of two swords, the wings behind her back started to tingle. They fluttered, begging to set free as the shackles of past kept them tied for so long. They feared if they have forgotten to fly. The feathers of hope craved to feel the caresses of heavenly air.

The Alpha King's Captive

They flare on either side of me and when I stand, the points arch to encompass a wide scope of the ground, causing the others to back away in shock. Because I have wings. Wings of fire.

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

Demon: Supernatural Bad Boys V

My heart and body rebels at the thought I make my way to the back of the building and release my wings. The good thing about demon wings is that they can also materialize over my clothes. Fallon gives me a hard glare when I land on the roof. The building is not very tall. But it’s tall enough to obscure us from spectators. Thankfully, it’s still dark outside.

Slowly reading through the series and this has to be one of my favourites so far! Such a great book, the story is engaging and well written, I love that it introduces less written about supernatural species, it just adds to the story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and totally recommend this book!

The Devil's Broken Doll

The Devil's Broken Doll

The scale of him forced the eye to adjust, to recalibrate what counted as a threat, what counted as a weapon. His wings unfurled behind him. Not in a single, theatrical sweep, but in a measured expansion that claimed the space as its own, the membranes stretching outward in layered arcs, catching the rising heat and bending it to his will. The edges burned in deep, smouldering crimson, not bright but dense, like coals banked beneath ancient ash, pulsing in time with the fire beneath his skin. Drifting ash caught along their span, then burned away in curling wisps, leaving no mark. These were not the wings of any bird. They were banners torn from an infernal altar and set ablaze. That fire wa

BRED FOR DUTY

BRED FOR DUTY

She heard the clang of blades and she knew she had to get ready. Free of her corset her wings materialize themselves. They were just as bold and glorious as her mother’s. She couldn’t sense any danger coming from her side so she knew they were all coming from her mother’s side. She saw one of the rebels as they tried to climb over the palace walls and she reacted. Moving the air around her moved as her wings flapped as hard as they could as she flew to the palace walls. She stood her feet astride on the great wall as she fought the men clambering up the beating of her wings keeping her steady on her feet.

The Alphas' Angel

The Alphas' Angel

But I knew he would test my faith and resolve from time to time- like now in the realm of sleep—a place where I could so easily close my eyes and shut out the harrowing cries of innocence. I had grown up to be ashamed of my wings; they always reminded me of how different I was, how unnatural and damned. I can count the times I have shown them to people on one hand. One! My mother! That is it! So, it seemed fitting to unleash my one white, one black wing in a world where they belonged; the world where dreams and nightmares entwined so flawlessly you hardly noticed! Ultimately it was up to me which side prevailed, good or evil, light or dark, dreams or nightmares.

A CROWN FOR HER FREEDOM

A CROWN FOR HER FREEDOM

The first light of dawn bathed the palace in a soft orange glow, the air cool and filled with the gentle songs of morning birds. The courtyard buzzed quietly as soldiers prepared the carriages and horses, loading supplies with care. Tara stood at her chamber window, watching it all with a mix of excitement and unease. She took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment this was the beginning of something new, the start of gaining alliances and perhaps it will be dangerous but she was ready as long as she gets the freedom she wants at the end of this journey.
