They stood there, stunned, staring at the heavy snowfall blanketing everything in white. Rhett quickly came up with an excuse about the roads being too slippery and persuaded Ruby to come back inside. The group began scrambling to find anything to keep warm. They searched the entire villa, upstairs and downstairs, but could not even find a single thick blanket. After a long while, they ended up huddled together on the couch in the living room, still dressed in short sleeves and shorts. They told Jasmine to call me for help. I comforted her for a bit, then deliberately sounded troubled.

It was very lively. As night fell, snow began to fall from the sky. Winter in the north seemed to be like snow, and the pure white snow made Ice and Snow all the more beautiful. Avery leisurely strolled along the road to the Autumn Forest Shop and also stayed in the Education Bookstore for a long time. It was as if she could only temporarily forget about the pain and trouble Blake had brought her. She was also keen on books on medicine, but they were sold all over the country, and Harbin's shelves were no different from S City's.

She scrambled over to bandage me, and when she held my wrist, she froze. My arm was so thin it was almost all bone. My hands were dark and rough, covered in hard skin and cracks from frostbite. Outside, I heard my parents and Mia's voices. "The snow on the mountain is so pretty! I want to take pictures!" "Okay, but you have to dress warmly, or you'll catch a cold." "Where is Big Sis? She's always up the mountain. Let her guide us." "What's the point? That kid isn't close to us. Bringing her along just makes things awkward."

She wiggled her eyebrows at me—as if what she were saying made the idea somehow more appealing. "It's a private school." I chuckled, shaking my head at the stupidity I found in her statement. "Every dance we have is invested with over thousands of dollars. They're all the biggest." "Yes—but this one is the winter one which is always better than the spring one." Preslie retorted, her tone defensive. "Yeah—peanut butter and jelly is always better with bread." I rolled my eyes, sighing at my weak comeback. "How does the season signify which will be better?"

Before I knew it, my back hit the bed and he carefully took my dress off before throwing it somewhere. _____________________________________________________________________ The last leaf of the fall disconnected from the now dark gray tree. Its orange colors knowing it soon would become dead once it reached the almost frozen floor. Winter wind blew rapidly around, tossing the dried leaves back and forth. Snowflakes drizzled and clung to everything they grabbed, the floor becoming too frozen to thaw through it anymore. In just a few days, every inch of the earth around us would be covered in many layers of snow. The cold chill that ran through everyone's spine came with some benefits though.

My arm snakes around Winter's graceful form, pulling her into my side. I can do this one handed. She's just too damn tempting to keep my hands off of. At least I'm already skilled in the art of one handed... stuff. I don't know how she distracts me so much with just a touch. Even though the fluff of the blanket, I can feel her softness. God, she's beautiful. I can't keep myself from pressing a kiss to her head, her floral shampoo flooding my nostrils. “Soooo…” Winter snuggles into me, her head resting on my chest. “What are you gonna do about… ummm… her.”

Not the kind you dress for, but the kind that seeps through your skin and makes a home in your chest like frostbite. Winter is here in its fullest, cruelest form. The trees are nothing more than skeletal outlines, their branches stretched toward the gray sky like twisted hands pleading for mercy from the never ending chill. Not a single leaf clings to them anymore. Instead, the ground is a blanket of brittle decay with leaves long dead and forgotten, piled in thick drifts along a narrow, winding path that seems to lead nowhere.

{TW: Family violence} The balcony overlooked the sprawling woods, now blanketed in a thick layer of pristine snow. The winter scene was breathtakingly beautiful, with the snow-covered treetops stretching out as far as the eye could see. The silence was profound, broken only by the occasional rustle of a bird or the distant creak of a tree swaying gently in the wind.

“Come with me.” Winter walked around the library. She then went to the very corner of the room, pressed the room button and made it open. A secret room that holds magic books for tier one witches. The book was flying, unlike the books in the front room which were neatly arranged on the shelves. Helena just found out there was a room like this. Each book was coated in fairy powder, so it could fly on its own. “This is the book!” Winter exclaimed. She reached for a book with a red cover; a book that could show a map of the world.

3, 2, 1… HAPPY NEW YEAR! The cheers were deafening as everybody in that party began to dance the night away as they welcomed the start of a more hopeful and prosperous year for their pack.
