"Like the princess, tea, or flower?" I glanced at him from the corner of my eye, a smile growing on my face. "The flower. Why do you—why do you call me Bloom?" Zac shrugged lightly, looking out the window. "I assumed it was the flower. Blooming—as flowers do." I inhaled sharply. I was—flattered, I think. Confused. I didn't think Zac was someone who would put thought into a nickname. It—kind of made my heart tug. It was—just more thoughtful than I would have imagined Zac to be.

Alex asked, poking a metal fork at one. "A- yes ma'am." Alex scrunched her nose in disgust. She knew it. "What's this then?" She tipped the glass of pink stuff towards him. "That's rooart. It's made from fermented moss." "It's not too bad," she said, taking a generous sip. Weylin looked away. "How old are you?" she asked in between roars of excitement from the crowd. "Seventeen cycles, ma'am." "Call me Alex, not ma'am. It makes me feel old."

He will dry that witch's blood and savor every drop of it to compensate for what she did to him. Meanwhile, inside the elegant room, Celestine suddenly opens her eyes. Her eyes widely opened when she realized that she was not inside her room. Then a flashback of what happened before she passed out entered her mind. A vampire shows up in front of her. A vampire manages to get in their house despite that they have big dogs as their guards so they will know once there is someone inside their yard.

I had read books on how to help late shifters regain their powers, and they suggested focusing on the Nyx stone—our pack's power stone—to aid the Alpha and Luna in gaining power and healing. As Flora meditated, standing with the stone in her palms under the full moon's light, her beauty was illuminated, and I couldn't help but stare. She looked like a goddess. I admired her innocent nature and sometimes her feisty side. But I had to stop myself from thinking too much about her. Flora doesn't feel the same for me and tries to get my emotions checked before I get hurt again.

The Alpha King slowly moves towards Logan and takes Flora's body from him, the pack warriors immediately stand guard while her body is collected and taken in preparation for the burial rite and arrangement. The next day, the pack gathered at her grave site to bid her farewell; Flora, the dainty angel who brought so much peace, soothed so many broken hearts and identified as a mother to many, there's no doubt she would be missed. She is being laid to rest by an orchid tree centuries old; the tree is beautiful, and it's facing the heavens as if offering her soul to the moon goddess. Alexia clung to the Luna Queen, her tiny frame shaking with sobs as she whispered, "Mommy, come back."

I said in a whisper, as I looked at Owen. "Will you ever admit to it?" He chuckled softly as he looked at Logan. "You are definitely going to disbelieve this. You know father won't let me have a mate for now." I groaned as I looked at Owen. I looked at Alicia who seemed lost in the party. It was obvious that this was her first time stepping her legs in the club. "Hey, handsome? Are you guys doing well?" Flora snapped as she stopped at the front of our table in the VIP section. "I can say you all are having a pretty good time." She winked at me and I blew a kiss to her as he smiled.

The pack house was huge. So many werewolves flitting about, betas and omegas busy with one job or another in one vast, overwhelming community. Sometimes they would pass by me, quiet down, and give me a low respectful bow, saying; "May the Moon Goddess illuminate your path, Luna, and may her favour forever be upon your royal blood." Then they would wait patiently until I acknowledged them before going right back to their regular loud business. It was so bizarre, I felt like Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.

I overheard Xandros mocking me as he spoked to Xyla then she replied. " Let's not be quick to draw conclusions “ But i couldn't afford to be distracted in this state, as i saw Flora coming for me again ruthlessly with another kick, i barely dodged that as i got on my feet to commence a new style of attack. She seemed to be mixing some swordsman styles with tai chi but i didn't let that phase me. “You better get your head in the game, girl!" Flora said to me, her advice really infuriated me to the point where i cursed her unknowingly

I heard Phelan in the forest before I saw him and that's something new for me. “Oh, Brandon was right, you're a Winter Wolf.” Flora steps back and drops to her knees; she bows herself forward so low that her chest presses into the concrete and her forehead scrapes across the ground. “Flora, what the hell are you doing?” I crouch down and reach out for her. I can’t quite reach her but she lifts her head to look me in the eyes. I have no words to describe the look on her face; I think it might be awe but that doesn’t feel quite right.
