His Magic Luna
Dad says with power, and the pack goes wild with cheers and howls.
“Please reach out your right hand, darling.” Mom says, and as Maddie does that, I do it too. We are facing each other now, and the love I feel for her shines back at me in her eyes. Mom and dad slice a small straight cut in our hands, and we join them so it mixes. The blood drops into a sacred chalice that mom holds under us. The liquid in there sizzles with ancient magic. Maddies eyes glow, and I know from the look on her face mine does as well. We part hands, our small wounds healed by our wolves. We turn to face the loud, cheering crowd.
