“Good job princess.” I looked around seeing others walking into the woods. One man, a tall slim man dressed all in a black robe was burning something in the fire. The smell seemed to be white. I don’t know why white was the word that first came to me, maybe pure. I looked up at Nikko, “Is he a witch?” Nikko looked down at me, “a warlock maybe. I don’t think he would take kindly to you calling him a witch.” He arched his brow, “why Samantha are you a witch?”

"Are you out of your mind?" Lukas asks her, "you want us to use Sarah as bait? You've got to be joking." "So what do you want us to use as bait? The bait has to be something the hunted wants. If we want to catch an animal, we have to give it what it wants. She wants Sarah, we give her Sarah. We'll have witches and," she says with emphasis when Lukas wants to interrupt, "werewolves to protect her. I'd go a million times if I could, but my going would be useless," Katrina returns.

Sungul grinned proudly, “To know that you’ll soon have a familiar in your grasp.” I’ve seen other witches wandering around campus with theirs. Random floating objects or a slew of different animals saunter around with their witches. Some were as small as a pixie while others stretched high towards the ceiling, towering over the lot of us. Our story, our words, our ending. We did one interview on local newspaper. "What do you want readers to take away?" the journalist asked. Sage answered: "That you can survive manipulation. That you can rebuild." I added: "That second chances are real. If you choose them." "What about Victoria Ashford? Have you heard from her since publication?"

“We will start by teaching you both that each wolf holds special powers that no other wolf possesses; the Gold wolf can give wolfbane, silver pain, and other types of pain by its bite, claws, and fur when close to the enemy. The Silver can’t get hurt by wolfbane, silver, and any pain from them. Even after being switched, you can use these powers just as you saw your mates do earlier.” My eyes grew from what my mother had just explained to us. The wolf did not only switch our souls. Do they have powers too?

“How? No one can survive that steep fall. Besides, Serena can’t swim and she has no wolf.” “On the contrary, she has a wolf. She feeds on the energy around her to multiply her powers The Second Witch stepped closer. “Ever wondered why your plants are dying and why your life force is diminishing?”
