Wizard Fantasy Books Novels & Stories

Did she have ancestors from there several generations back that she just didn't know about? And most of all, what did any of it have to do with the very strange book she'd found, Legends of the Werewolf. The binding was ancient leather, now frayed in many places, and the lettering in gold. The other night when she finally opened it she expected to read about the history of werewolves and how that history came to be. Instead, to her shock, the stories were about shapeshifters, people who could change into the shape of a wolf. Whole villages apparently had that ability and when danger presented itself they shifted into their wolf shape, gathered as a pack and disappeared.

I go to the library where I see Abner Brooks. “Ahh, young Morgan, I’m not surprised to see you here.” He gives me a genuine smile. “I came to look for books on word alchemy, I’m not sure what or if they have any here.” “They do,” He bobs his head in thought, “Not a whole ton but Bear Clans are very spiritual and keep many records of Witch Alchemy.” He leads me to a section in the back and shows me a bookshelf of old and dusty books that look like they haven’t been touched in centuries. If at all. “Knock yourself out, let me know if I can be of any help.”

Was that what they had been talking about? She had no idea. She had not been thinking of the Holy Grail at all, and hardly even knew what it was. She wished now that she had been listening to their conversation. She tried to remember what it was, and thought back to childhood fairytales, to myths and legends. To the stories of King Arthur. Excalibur. The Holy Grail…

“Gavyn was forcing Fabian’s hands by using every trick he could from the ancient book.” My brows knitted in confusion. “What ancient book are you talking about?” The hairs on the back of my neck rose. There is only one book that I knew Warlocks possessed, but Fabian is guarding it with his life. That book is dangerous. It was not called The Book of Damned for nothing. The Book of the Damned contains powerful dark magic spells and is considered the most potent record of dark magic. If it fell into the wrong hands, who knows what may happen?

He and his late wife would help the poor creatures and have friends in every village. He won two wars before, one against Rosa and the other one against Blackmere. Jimmy was walking in the castle corridors when Ruvyn and Nieven called him, "Jimmy!" He smiled and headed towards them. "You were in the library again?" "Yes." he blushed. "We finally found someone who enjoys reading as much as our King." the Elf chuckled. "It has been a very long time since I last opened one aside from my spellbooks." the Wizard said. The diamond-haired smiled, "There is a philosopher called Plato who said that books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.

I quickly search for 'Four cardinal elements' and when I hit enter a lot of links about nature religions, paganism and something called wicca pops up. "Wind, fire, water and air. The Four elements that flow through us all is the pillow in practising witchcraft". I read out loud. Witchcraft ? Well I can't be turning into a witch. I open the link, feeling curious. Looking down the page, several things seem to draw me in. I nervously bite my lip before pushing the link saying 'magic and spells'.

I asked with little curiosity. A boy like him shouldn't be tied to the Temple. "No, another item will replace its position. But no worries, I love my job." The book had a sorcerer’s wand coloured violet on the cover. A blue smooth bookmark was attached to it. The book's edges looked like silver but felt like liquid mercury. "You can take the shortcut at the end of this room." "Thanks," I mouthed out. I walked to the other end of the room and placed my hand on the wall, waiting for something to happen.

That’s when she figured that Isabella wasn’t from here. “You must be from another time period.“ “What do you mean?” “The thing you messed with wasn’t an hourglass. It was a witching glass.” “A witching what?” “The thing you called an hourglass. I read about it in my mothers’ books. It's an hourglass that’s been enchanted to control time. This item allows a person to travel between the past, the present, and the future.” “So, am I in the past?” “Yes.” “What year is it?”

Fox winks taking Colts hands and bringing them up to shoulder level before they close their eyes. I watch in awe as the twins radiate a white light that pushes out to the water, and the sludge of blackness turns into a sparkling blue. The animals that had been bobbing on the water were burned to ash where they sat. I wonder if Chloe's magic is similar to her brothers? I've never seen her use it before. But I can't wait to see it. Right now I can feel it coursing through my veins and it's a heady feeling. I love our magic mingling together.
