Margaret’s point of view- A witch is one who can get sick, whereas wolves never do. If I get sick, I lose my power. Several years ago, that was the case. Once I turned one hundred years old, I stopped counting my age in years. I was hiding at the time from the grand wizard, an extraordinarily evil man. He even helped Marcus take over the Western kingdom of wolf packs. It was Dreyfus, the grand wizard, who taught Marcus how to sell his soul to the devil.

The wizard stood on his feet with a long stretch. “Don't do anything stupid,” he said. “Your body still needs rest. No running into trouble.” Wayne nodded, but they both they know he wasn't going to listen. The wizard left through the back door, with his robes trailing behind him like smoke and ghost. Wayne stood from the bed and moved to the window. Everything was beginning to make sense to him now; the sudden intense body heat, his joints and muscles twitching under the surface, and the overwhelming need to run.

Sean instructed Owe in a serious tone. Owen left after briefing him some more on developments. I opened it carefully and began flipping through pages. The writing was old, uneven, faded in some places, but the words were still clear. My eyes moved slowly over the first page. A bond of two natures… I frowned, turning the page. Born of great magic and sacrifice. My stomach tightened. “What does that even mean…” I murmured quietly. Then I opened another page. Then I saw a drawing on it. It looked familiar as I leaned closer, staring. A woman, clearly a witch by the robes and symbols around her, was standing over two wolves lying on the ground, as strange lines of magic seemed to curl and swirl around them.

“I thought it might be a good place to write the spells and everything down? You can use a spell to hide them so that only those you allow to see it can see the spells.” Willow takes the book curiously. It already looks old but in more of a cool, antique way than a dusty attic way. Maybe this will help? Since that day she unlocked everything her mind has been overwhelmed with the amount of information she’s been told: spells, magic, potions, and everything else at that. Maybe writing them down will free her mind slightly?
