ANTIPODE : LOVE FROM THE OTHER SIDE

ANTIPODE : LOVE FROM THE OTHER SIDE

The only thing the wolf could do was to howl and howl. Then, there came a rescue. Four water fairies heard the agony of the crying wolf. They pitied the poor creature. The four magical fairies immediately wrapped her body with a thin glowing vine. Myla’s body was completely covered by it. She looked like a butterfly inside the cocoon. When the fairies were all done on their procedure. They left her and the wolf without saying any word. The wolf was completely clueless on what to do next. All he could do at that point in time was to wait patiently. The wolf never leaved her side.

HE IS LUCIFER

HE IS LUCIFER

“Why don’t you believe it when your wolf tells you that the fairy is your mate?” Asked the Troll then crossed fingers that he doesn’t get chewed up by his king. “Because it is impossible for me to be mated to a fairy.” Answered Luka with a frown, it was impossible, right? “I don’t think so my king, werewolves never mistake their mates and it is not impossible for you to be mated to a fairy. The Moon Goddess doesn’t make mistakes about these things.”

I am on chapter 21, so far it’s a good story and I plan on reading the entire book. But I have to mention the amount of grammar and spelling (mostly the spelling) errors detract from the storyline. Sometimes you have to reread something so it makes sense. Overall good though.

My Alpha's Vengeance

My Alpha's Vengeance

The fur that adorned my wolf's form was not just any color—it was a pure, pristine white. Whispers rippled through the pack, carried on the wind like a sacred secret revealed. The legend of the white wolf echoed in their murmurs, a tale passed down through generations. It was said that a white wolf possessed a unique power, a healing ability that transcended the bounds of ordinary werewolves. They were believed to be chosen, destined to bring solace and aid to those in need.

he got interrupted but he still shaked her hand. " There is nothing to apologize about. Tell me, what's your department?" She asked. " Wolf hunting." The answer came as a shock. " Do people still involve themselves in things like that. Like imagine this is kind of weird, a werewolf. I have to say, I have never seen one before. But I have studied a lot about that and I was surprised that werewolves were not among the earliest extinction. Infact they are just natural selections. So tell me, how many have you hunted?"

The Wolf Moon Rises

She bent down to look Lia right in the eyes when she asked, “Who told you that werewolves aren’t real?” “My teacher did. She tells the red riding hood story different than you do too. It’s a tree cutter that kills the wolf in her story, not a farmer. The wolf had already eaten the little girl and her gran when the tree cutter chops the wolf open and the girl and her sick gran step right out of it and go back home.” “Do you think a little girl would really live if a wolf ate her?” “Well...no. But it’s a story, so it’s pretend.”

The Wolf’s Fate

The Wolf’s Fate

I started taking a deep breath before I kept reading. “The Red Rose pack. The most powerful wolf pack in the whole country. This pack dates back to the 1600s when the first Alpha reigned in the woods. Rumors were spread that a rabid wolf attacked a hunter when he was out hunting for rabbits. Weeks later, he felt painful aches on his body and his bones felt like they were crushing inside while he was taking the form of the rabid animal. From then on, he kept attacking the village and recruiting more wolves by biting them without remorse. They built the town and up until this day, that pack still exists. Bigger and more powerful than ever.”

For a first werewolf story written by this author, it is a fantastic story that I really enjoyed, would have read it at once but had to keep the suspense. Finished reading this story the second time, could not just put it down. Well done for the twist in the story, made it more interesting.

This was a great book! I couldn't even tell this was the author's first werewolf book, she had to tell me in the Author's Notes. Lots of cool twists, it's a great romance and coming-of-age story. I wish this platform had the ability to let me help the author proofread this wonderful story!!

A wolf in sheep’s clothing

A wolf in sheep’s clothing

Not caring for what the people thought about me. I had known from a young age that superstition persisted as a dangerous thing, the fear of something that they did not understand causing the men of all kingdoms to act irrationally and without cause. This had caused the great witch trials after my birth, the strange curse that I had been placed with proving that they existed and this; the mortals did not like. The council had burned many women at the stake, attempting to do the same to me when I was a young child; insisting that I was a danger to all of them. But really, at only five years of age I had no idea that my power was deadly and used it against the soldiers when they came for me. Th

The Alpha's Luna Boss

The Alpha's Luna Boss

The stories never really specified what happened to the witches and Hybrid wolves after that but the werewolf community hasn't heard about them for decades and so we assumed they didn't survive alone, out of the packs. But Balfour sounded like he was onto something by mentioning them. "If you heard of them, then you must know how powerful they are. Witches are powerful enough to replace scents and make them smell familiar even when they're not using dark magic." I held myself back from scoffing. Balfour sounded like he would do anything to convince me that the princess is bad news. "I don't want to assume that you're thinking Princess Ilvira made use of a witch to replace her scent with min

She Wolf

She Wolf

These were my first lunar days, the restructuring of the body and the awakening of the she-wolf, as my mother later explained. Back then, werewolves were a completely closed topic for me. Of the films, I watched only "Guest from the Future" with Alisa Selezneva, I did not read fantasy. Therefore, my mother's confession was comparable to a miracle. Although, at that age, I would have easily believed in elves and Santa Claus. And when I saw with my own eyes my mother's turn into a black she-wolf with silver tips on her ears and tail, the fairy tale became a reality.

Frequently Asked Questions

The big bad wolf serves as one of the most enduring archetypes in fairy tales, often embodying the primal fears that lurk beneath our everyday lives. In stories like 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'The Three Little Pigs', this character isn't just a simple villain; he's a powerful representation of danger and temptation. It's fascinating how the wolf can symbolize both a natural predator and the darker aspects of human nature.

From my perspective, the way the wolf behaves varies in each tale, which adds layers to his character. In 'Little Red Riding Hood', he’s cunning and manipulative, tricking the innocent girl and showcasing a chilling blend of charm and deceit. It reminds me of those moments in life where appearances can be deceiving, making us question whom we can trust. However, in 'The Three Little Pigs', he's more of a straightforward antagonist—a force of destruction that tests the pigs’ wit and perseverance.

What I find particularly interesting is that he often represents a rite of passage for the heroes in these tales. Overcoming the wolf’s challenges teaches valuable lessons about courage, cleverness, and resilience. As a beloved (if fearsome) character, I think the wolf ensures that these tales remain both thrilling and educational. Ultimately, he forces readers and listeners to confront fears head-on, which is a critical element of personal growth.
