Wolf Meaning Tattoo Novels & Stories

I cock an eyebrow, only for him to point at the tattoo on my chest. Every male wolf gets branded with their house sigil on their thirteenth birthday. It’s not just a rite of passage. It can turn from red to black, when we first touch our fated partners. Female wolves get theirs on the wrist on their eighteenth birthday, to make sure they remain pure. My tattoo is a raven above crossed swords, the sigil of the Medeiros House. And right now, it’s burning black, like a burst of smoke on my skin.

One of the stories is the foundation of our custom that mate marks are for life. Legend says that the Moon Goddess took pity on a rejected mate that had been marked. She took the mark away, leaving the curve of her neck smooth and unblemished. The Moon Goddess visited her in a dream and told her she would have a second chance to find love. There would be a new mark that would be forever. The she-wolf was so angry with the Moon Goddess and refused her gift. She told the Moon Goddess that no man nor wolf would ever control her again. She would never accept another mate. The woman screamed that the pain was too much. The she-wolf screamed at the Moon Goddess and insulted her. When the she-wolf

“I was thinking of getting a couple of tattoos done, but we don’t really have a tattooist in this pack, and the only person who can do wolf tattoos is a guy in town. It’s annoying having to go all the way there for a tattoo.” I know that tattooing wolves is different from tattooing humans. A regular tattoo will heal on a wolf because of our healing abilities, so we add silver to the ink so it won’t heal, and seeing how badly wolves react to silver, and the pain it causes, it’s not a light matter. He speaks before I can answer, though. “Remind me later to look into the new programs the community college is adding to their list this year, will you?” My brain short circuits.

The other two didn't fare better, and in a few seconds, they fell to their death. Another two rushed at me, holding a black dagger in their hands. I slashed at the wrist of one of them, and that was when I saw an odd tattoo on the man's wrist. The tattoo was painted in black ink, showing two black blades on top of a howling wolf. The image was familiar, but I could not remember where I had seen it before. I realized that the other person also had the same tattoo on his wrist, and so concluded that it was an identification method for their pack or clan.

I just had no idea how shocking and mind-blowing until she turned around. My mouth dropped open. I couldn't breathe. My Wolf lurched into my eyes, his entire body trembling. She had an incredible Wolf tattooed on her back as though he were climbing up from her waist, his head at her shoulder, preparing to climb over to her front, giving the illusion of his body covering hers. It streaked up her back, filling most of her flesh on her right side. It was sleek and beautiful. But it wasn't just any Wolf. It was him. It was my Wolf!

I pause, my eyes widening, finally getting a good look at it for the first time. It’s not just a simple mark—it’s intricate and detailed. A fierce black wolf, Elijah’s wolf, etched into my skin like a tattoo. The fur is ink-black, but what catches my breath is the wolf’s eyes—they glow gold, flickering almost like they’re alive, just like the painting. I gasp, stumbling back, touching it with trembling fingers. “No way…” The gold in the wolf’s eyes flickers like embers, sending a shiver down my spine.

Not as weak as a human, but not as strong as a wolf. I watched the mark on my neck in the mirror. It was a bit grotesque and was swollen, but then it would become a nice unique tattoo. It was something magical and special that all the wolves shared, a sign of love and respect towards our mate. I would have to wait a few days to see ours, but I would be patient. For the time being, it was enough to cover it with a gauze and take care of it as a wound. Being a magical tattoo, my powers could not heal it.

He had a large round tattoo on his upper chest. It was some kind of design with a wolf in the center. He was grinning with very white teeth. For some reason Rae thought of the childhood story with Red Riding hood and the big bad wolf. "Jake some guy is knocking on my window." Rae whispered. "And he has a wolf tattoo on his chest." "Rae lock your doors and get out of there now!!!!" Jake ordered. "Are you ok? Do you need help?" The Rogue Wolf asked. "No, I'm fine." She replied.

Assuming that they linked their alpha, telling him I'm asking for him, I stand here waiting in front of my car. A couple of minutes pass before two large brown wolves come walking through the trees. They both carry the scent of alpha males. The slightly larger Alpha male shifts. Almost every inch of him is covered in tattoos. I've seen many of those symbols that are covering his body in books and old strolls that I've read. They all hold a different meaning. These tattoos show that they still live by the old ways of the ancestors. I'm sure all these guys are covered in these markings.

I whisper hoarsely, my voice barely a breath against the overwhelming silence. The forest seems to close in on me, the once-comforting darkness now a suffocating void. I look up, hoping to see the familiar faces of my family, but instead, a low, menacing growl emerges from the depths of the woods. My heart pounds in my chest as a figure begins to materialize through the gloom. A large, black wolf steps into view, its eyes glowing a haunting blue. Its coat is sleek and glossy, a stark contrast against the dark backdrop of the woods. A white diamond-shaped tattoo gleams on its forehead, catching the faint light and casting eerie shadows.
