"Be careful, Tanner. Stay within pack territory." Tanner stepped away from his house, feeling the weight of his thoughts heavy on his shoulders. He paused, closing his eyes, concentrating on the transformation that was about to occur. His body began the shift, bones and muscles rearranging themselves in a dance as old as time. Fur sprouted across his skin, his face elongated into a snout, and his hands and feet turned into paws. The transformation was complete, and he stood there, a majestic wolf.

It had been almost two months since Nicole discovered her abilities as a she wolf a moment that had entirely changed her life, she had experienced three major events in just a space of one year. Each every was just a means to set up the next big event in her life all building a stronger woman. It all stated with the tragic accident, then she found true love in Henry and became a mythical being.

The risk is too great. As soon as I leave the castle, I feel the power of the wolf take over my body, my muscles expanding, bones shifting, until my human form gives way to the beast within me. The transformation is quick and violent, the sound of bones cracking and flesh rearranging echoing like thunder. I feel the primal strength of the werewolf rise with a silent roar, and in an instant, I race down the road toward the destination revealed by the spell.

Alastor lifted himself off of me and let out a sigh. "I'll follow them," Dakari muttered and jumped off the stage, his clothes shredding around him. Tasha stared after him before giving in and jumping off the stage as well. Her wolf was the color of her skin. Chocolate brown. Her fur looked like a different texture too but she sped away too quickly. Alastor looked toward Alma. She sighed in defeat and followed the two. Her wolf looked like Alastor just a lot smaller and she had white accents. He phased and rolled onto his back next to me. "That was a disaster." He whispered.

I refused to be a helpless bystander any longer. Lightning streaked across the sky, illuminating the battlefield in stark relief. A guttural growl tore from Ralph's throat as his body began to shift, surrendering to the primal force of his wolf. His form blurred, muscles rippling and bones reshaping as he transformed. And then I felt it—an undeniable pull within me, a fiery energy begging to be unleashed. Without hesitation, I let go of my fear, my body trembling as it responded to the primal call. Pain and power surged through me, and when I opened my eyes, the world looked sharper, more vivid. I had shifted too. My wolf had awakened.

“Yes, I can do it! I can do the whole transformation!” Victor laughs a little and then drops his son’s hand, preparing himself for the change. His people rarely changed fully, instead only using pieces of their wolf form – the increased senses, the sharper teeth, the ability to grow claws – as a part of their daily life. In wolf form you were…vulnerable. An animal. Unpredictable and subject to the swaying impulses of nature. Many who transformed completely into their wolf forms never came back, either because their wolf instincts got them into trouble they couldn’t handle – fights with other animals, stranded without resources – or because it was just too good to want to come back to the hum

"Darn! We cannot fight them in this form. Transform now!" Aware of the imminent threat, Lily's heart raced, her mind shifting gears as she focused on her own inner strength. She took a deep breath, steadying herself. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she embraced the power within, willing her body to undergo the transformation. Within seconds, her human form began to shift, muscles stretching and bones rearranging as she assumed her wolf form.

Kara stirs within me, her spirit merging with mine. The transformation begins, pain searing through my body as my bones shift and crack. My skin stretches, my senses heighten, and my vision sharpens. I hear the guards falter, their footsteps slowing as they witness the change. My body morphs into my wolf form—a majestic white wolf with sapphire blue eyes.

"Neither Jasmine nor I would ever break your trust." He nodded. "I can give you the short version. She basically killed her wolf when she was twelve by eating wolfsbane. And she got help from some witches to bring her wolf back from the dead." "Is such a thing possible?" I asked, leaning forward in my chair, amazed. I'd never heard of someone losing their wolf, and definitely hadn't heard of them getting it back. I wanted to learn more, but I could tell Tyce wasn’t going to be open about it. Maybe Gigi would eventually feel comfortable enough to open up to me, especially now that we were technically going to be related.

Then why not? I slowly nodded my head, "yeah... Yeah... Why not." Without any warning she pulled me in and we kissed. I could taste salt from her lips and I giggled. Suddenly things felt different. Like I was new again... Like I was starting over. She pulled away and pulled me into a hug. I kissed her salty neck before looking far behind from her. I saw Ava looking at us from in between the tree, which was weird... Then suddenly something I least expected happened...She transformed into a wolf and ran away.
