It was just them playing and Nafira seemed to like it. A bunny ran out from the bush path, it stopped in the Middle of our track and then turned to us. At that moment I could see the fear in its eyes when it saw two large wolves and the realization that it was fucked. Both wolves turned to look at each other with a matching grin before they both ran after the bunny. The bunny who saw this coming immediately took off, running into the opposite path. Both wolves seemed to be in a competition of who was getting the bunny as they raced against it.

"Hello Axl. Nice to meet you" What is going on? Who was she? "Who...who are you?" I asked again. She laughed. "You don't need to be scared of me. I am Jenson. Your wolf. I am a part of you now and I am going to be with you from now on" I was excited when I heard this. I had heard stories of people and their mates and how they were best friends sometimes. Jenny always told me about them and I thought that it was something I was never going to have in my life.

She whimpered loudly as she struggled to free herself from them. Just as Jasmine took a step toward the comotion, a black Jeep Wrangler pulled up next to us, and Blake and Luke stepped out. “What the fuck is going on?” Blake asked, looking around. He glanced over in our direction and asked, “Jasmine, are you okay?” Lucy let out a whine. “Get off my mate!” Luke shouted at the wolves that were currently pinning her down. They all instantly got up, and Lucy walked over to Luke, sitting down next to him in her wolf form.

Alex nodded and without another word the two wolves left the frozen meadow, venturing into the forest. Alex could smell the dead rabbit and with it, the two fox shifters who he had guessed were mated or at the very least siblings. He signaled to his beta and the two pushed past snow-covered ferns that revealed a clearing and with it the two foxes with their fur standing on end.

My voice got louder as I spoke. Aiden laughed and stood up, saying, "It's all true, bunny. I'll explain the true mate stuff later, but first, let's meet my wolf." He said, "Meet your wolf? How? Don't you need a full moon or something? Aiden, please tell me you're joking about this? It's ok. I'm not going anywhere." I sobbed as I stood up. He held my hands tightly.

I slowly opened my eyes, I thought I just heard it wrong or I was hallucinating, but when I saw Alex standing in front of me, his face illuminated by the moonlight. I was breathless, then my heart sped up. I looked left and right to look for the wolf, but I couldn’t see it anywhere, only the body of the black wolf laying lifeless on the ground was there, no sign of the golden wolf that just… saved me? “Where…” “Where is what, bunny?” His lips curled into a small smile. A smile that made my stomach twist. “The wolf.” “Oh.” He chuckled softly. “That wolf?” I stared at him.

Her thoughts were abruptly interrupted as the wolf sprang at her from the side. With swift reflexes, she reacted by pressing her body flat against the ground, just as a ferocious roar erupted from the very direction she had been heading. The wolf landed gracefully beside her, its eyes revealing a blend of apprehension and curiosity as it caught sight of the newcomer. A lion, with its mane resembling a breathtaking cascade of golden wheat that framed the massive head of the newcomer like a regal crown, advanced with a quiet grace. Its sleek and agile body moved stealthily, each step a calculated stride as it stalked its prey. With unparalleled agility, the lion leaped forward, swiftly locking

One that they don’t deserve because they are just trying to help me. “Probably because your wolf is a bada**,” Bunny smirks.

In the end all we got was the cutest little bunny wolf who couldn’t hurt a fly. We loved Keiral, but she had the biggest mouth in Questorian Valley. Which mostly had us Gorde wolfs fighting her battles. None of us wanted repeats but she kept em coming. For a tiny little Canus lupus she sure knew how to start a fight, just not very good at the following through part. That she left for us.

I’m met with silence, and my chest tightens, my stomach churns, and my bottom lip starts to wobble again. “ZEV!” I scream angrily, needing him to come back. A moment later, he lopes out of the trees with something white and fluffy hanging in his jaws. Surprise and disgust hit me at the same time, and I watch as he trots over to my side and drops what I now realize is a bunny in my lap. The little animal doesn’t move until Zev growls. Then, it jolts and curls into my lap, clinging to me to get away from the wolf.
