Lanzetta so that I am not tempted to make a run for it. When I get out of the shower, I run the towel over my hair as my eyes land on the leather book Ben had asked about last night. "Moon Born Wolves of Alaska," I read the title out loud in a whisper, running my fingertips over its indentations. With a quick glance at the clock on Ben's side of the bed, there are more than four hours before I have to meet with Mrs. Lanzetta. Picking up the book, I flip to the first page and start reading. It starts with what I already know. The Alaskan wolves were said to be the first created by the moon goddess and were highly respected for their connection to divinity.

The titles immediately caught my eye: The Myths of Moonsdale, The Wolves of the Moonlight, The Moon’s Chosen. “These are about your pack, aren’t they?” I asked, pulling one of the books from the shelf. “Some of them,” he said, stepping closer. “Most of it’s exaggerated or romanticized, but there’s a little truth in there too.” I flipped through the pages, mesmerized by the intricate illustrations of wolves under moonlight and detailed depictions of pack hierarchies. “Can I borrow one?” I asked. His lips curved into a small, genuine smile. “Take as many as you want.”

I flipped the second page open and began reading. “After finding his mate and claiming her as his, the alpha moved to make it known under the crimson moon.” Though I had a foggy mind while reading the first sentence, my mind put the words together to make sense. This was a werewolf lore book just like the ones I’ve devoted myself to reading in the last week, but unlike those, this was a children’s book. I snapped it shut, got up, and hurried away from Zion’s room. I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed.

He says answering my thoughts. “You said you found something?” I say trying to change the subject. “Yes, I did. Luna, you were right, these wolves are the pets of hunters.” Doctor says and waves us over to come and look at the books laid on his desk. I look down at the books and just by looking at them, you can tell they are old. The pages are a yellowish-brown color with perfect handwriting.

but there's another identity for me which no one knows except me. I write novels under the pen name 'phoenix' My novels are about werewolves attacking humans. Since I don't like werewolves I started writing about them in a bad way to vent out my anger on them. Recently, I've been working on a book named, 'Desire for thirst' in which werewolves attack their prey when they are in rut. My work in this genre has been gaining more exposure because I've made it very clear that I don't like werewolves. I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds.
