It shows a summary of the life of werewolves in the 1900s and how they protected themselves against the blood hunters. She got another book titled “Vanishing Wolf, a Memoir” Her eyes start to widen as she reads the book.

She found the section on history books first, she reached for an old book that caught her eyes, with a thick brown, worn cover and a picture of a wolf on it, one that looked quite similar to the painting of the wolf on the wall in the living room. How strange? She took it immediately, having found her next read, she skipped out of the library and back to her room. She sat curled up in bed by the window, lunch was served by a servant as promised, she ate and stuck to get book. This book, titled, 'The Wolf Within' she had never really read anything like it. It seemed more like a fictional write up, than a history book. It talked about a wolf that was embedded into the souls of 'special people'

“So that way.” 16B was a much larger section than I expected. Still, it made sense since wolves were always passing down stories to the younger generations, true or not. “Found it,” I said. It took forty-five minutes but I found a book on the Moon Blessed that was not a kid's bedtime story. “When the Goddess becomes a man,” I read out the title. From the cover, I could tell it was still a fiction story for the most part. But it was better than nothing at all.

I said softly, because silence had become too full, “I spent all afternoon in the library trying to prove you aren’t what my brain is trying to make you.” The wolf’s eyes did not leave my face. I laughed once, quietly and without humour. “That’s not a great sign, is it?” He blinked, slow. I leaned back in the chair, staring out at the yard. “I found folklore books. Real ones. Weird ones. Academic ones. And every second page wanted to tell me silver means protection and wolves with unnatural coloured eyes are omens and stories.” The wolf’s ears twitched at the word silver. I noticed. Of course I noticed. My fingers tightened on the arm of the chair.

I tell him, before I start running to hide, pulling Issac along with me. Issac and I find a spot behind a bush and sit down, waiting. “So, did you learn anything from this book?” I ask and he nods. “Maybe.” He pulls the book out of his back pocket and starts going through the pages. The wolf senses and light from the moon making reading in the dark, while still hard not impossible. He stops at a page and shows it to me. “Apparently, if this book knows anything real, there’s like a whole pack ran by a golden wolf. Like even now, the golden wolf is like their Alpha.” He explains and I take the book to read over it.
