Wolves Den Novels & Stories

It made me think about how many could be walking around right now and I couldn’t accurately tell. “It would be nice to be able to know what types of creatures are in the area,” I think out loud. Alec looks glazed over for a minute then looks back at me with a smirk. “There are 4 wolves nearby, 1 light witch who’s not very powerful, and 2 bears.” It takes a minute for me to regain my composure before I can respond. “You motherfucker! Are you kidding me right now? Can you really tell that information? What, do you smell them or something?”

The wolves couldn’t just leave. Big Red crept closer to the entrance of the den. She growled so ferociously, that he immediately backed off. The two men laughed. Thompson studied the den.“ You can see who wears the pants in the family.” Settled down on the floor, she rested her head on her paws. But wouldn’t they lock the doors to keep others out? Sure. To protect idiot visitors who wanted to pet the nice wolves.

' I demand picking up the internal phone and calling Carter, who is one of my best tech guys. 'Get in here now.' I ordered him, then cut the call and turned to Darius. 'What else do we know?' He shuffles his feet and then clears his throat. Denver is an Alpha wolf. His Pack is called the Red Moon. They are a small, compact Pack made up of four brothers and their families. Denver is the Alpha; he is unmated. Then there is Texas, he has a mate and two pups, next is Dallas, he also has a mate with one pup and another on the way, and the youngest is Utah, he's unmated. There are a few cousins and their mates as well, and they all work for that company.'

He was undeterred, matching my stride easily with his longer legs. "You will say yes eventually," he said cheerfully. "How about this, meet me at The Den tomorrow night. It is where the pack socializes. You need to make friends." "I do not need anything from you." I stopped walking and faced him directly. Lucas tilted his head, studying me with those grey eyes that saw too much. "You know, most wolves would jump at the chance to get to know their new... what are we, exactly? Stepbrothers?" He said it mockingly, like the label was a joke.

Stacey. The sound of fists hitting flesh and loud cheers greeted us as we entered the underground arena. It smelled of blood, sweat and wet fur. Wolves stood all around the fighting ring, cheering and booing simultaneously. As we settled on the spot reserved for ranked wolves, Alpha Liam’s lips moved close to my ear. “This is the den,” he told me. I had heard of the existence of this place but never set foot there. “My wolves earn respect and settle scores here.”

It was a sight to behold, witnessing the wolves from both sides come together as one, their spirits intertwined in a shared purpose. A resolute determination radiated from their eyes, a silent vow to protect and safeguard our cherished home. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow upon the land, the wolves gathered in a circle, their bodies forming a united front. They stood tall and proud, their fur glistening in the fading light, a testament to their unwavering loyalty. It was as if they had always been destined to join forces, their instincts guiding them towards this pivotal moment.

A hidden passage revealed itself, the scent of damp stone and lingering smoke wafting up from below. The Den was alive with activity. The cavernous space was lit by the warm glow of scattered fire pits, their flames casting flickering shadows across the walls. Wolves in both human and shifted forms moved about, their voices blending into a low hum of conversation. I kept my head down as I navigated the chaos, avoiding eye contact and steering clear of any groups that looked too interested in newcomers. My anonymity was my greatest asset here, and I had no intention of losing it. At the far end of the Den, a small alcove housed the one wolf I’d come to see: Maelis.

He rarely frequented Wolf’s Den because everything was now in place, so Tyr didn’t have much to worry about. However, Tyr had been traveling to Wolf’s Den quite often lately. Today, Tyr had even been here since morning until late night, never taking a step out of the premises. As night fell, the full moon hung in the sky. In front of Wolf’s Den, two black wolves half as tall as an adult man were howling up at the moon. Owoo!!! The night sky was filled with cries of these black wolves, enhancing the Wolf’s Den’s mysteriousness. At that moment, waves after waves of punching sound continuously reverberated from the shed.

I said but it doesn't feel like what I said was sincere enough. "No. When he's attracted to someone, he won't be seduced by others, not until the one he likes dies." My eyes narrowed because of what Sophie said. That took a very dark turn. "You know, wolves are an incredibly devoted species. They even said that if a Wolf met their mate, they will never find another mate. For short, it's for a lifetime." She said but I don't get what she's talking about. "What was that about?" I was quite scared as I try to comprehend what's going on inside her mind.

The truth was close. And Silvercrest held the key. They had barely crossed into Silvercrest’s land when the first warning came. A single howl—long, deep, commanding. Theoden slowed. So did the others. Within seconds, they were surrounded. A dozen wolves stepped from the shadows, massive and silent, their silver-gray fur almost blending into the mist. But it was their eyes that caught Theoden’s attention. Not gold. Not brown. Silver. Cold. Calculating. The wolves of Silvercrest weren’t like other packs. They were old. Not just in age—but in purpose. And right now, they were watching Theoden like they were deciding whether to kill him or hear him out.
