Curse of the Wolves
Heavy chanting pounded in my eardrums, voices overlapping with one another until their words no longer made any sense.
Hands both strong and soft snared my face, cradling it gently. Starburst eyes staring down at me cracked the horrible images in two, crushing the shards to dust.
“Breathe, little wolf.”
I traced his lips, memorizing their movements. The pull in my chest intensified, drawing me closer. One kiss, that was all I wanted.
